@@Falcons8455Doesn't matter. If you're coming on the field you can't have anything on your hands. Once on the mound you can put on the rosin that's on the mound but that's it. You then wash your hands after you get back into the dugout.

Umpires check pitchers when they enter the field and before they exit the field. Usually the inspections are not shown on TV because they normally are uneventful.

Diaz is one of the worst Mets trades in franchise history. Has like 50 saves the year before he comes to the Mets. He gets to New York, blows 20 saves his first season. Literally cost the Mets that season. He had like one good year with Mets. Then hops around like a school girl, messed up his ankle and misses a whole season. Comes back and his velocity and stuff are down so he tries to cheat. Mets are unbelievable. Best owner in all of baseball and still can't figure this crap out. Can't stand it.

8 players have been ejected since this rule came into effect, 3 from the Mets. Either the Mets cheat more than other teams or they aren't very good at following the rules. Either way, changes need to be made in this organization.
