some say b20vtec are slower than the ls vtec because of the shorter rods. thats why the motor wasnt meant to rev pass 8k but you get alot of low end torque. the ls however can be revd a little bit higher than the b20 because of its longer rods.

b20 and Ls have same length rods, bore diameter is larger and is the ONLY difference. Hence b20vtec is capable of more power(high compression version). Talking to you raidcaipo
