Warren Foegele ended up winning this battle enough to get open and score the opening goal of SCF Game 6. Aaron Ekblad went down as Foegele jumped around him. Ekblad then took Foegele down. The close official did not have his arm up for a penalty on either play. Not sure if the back official did. Should he have? Have your say!

While the Panthers seem to be trained to stay down and cry when they fall, the Oilers are trained to get up and freakin SCOREEEEE when they fall. Heh. I wonder which one's the better team? Hard to tell.....

Hockey play, Foegele was skating purposefully towards the net, incidental contact as he jump strides to go around the slower player (pylon) Ekblad, who is clumsily trying to get back into position. No call is the right call.

Definitely a trip by Ekblad, but Foegele did an amazing job and scored anyways...was the arm up for a tripping penalty if he didn't score? That would be my question

Ekblad has been a liability throughout the playoffs….. he regularly gets out of position and he’s simply too slow!

Foegle seems to show up when it matters , like him a lot. If Ekblad didn't retaliate he might have got the call.

No contact. 100% trying to draw penalty because he found himself in a bad spot and the Oilers were on the rush… For a team that bragged about making it thru the playoffs thanks to their toughness and grit, Florida sure spends a ridiculous amount of time embellishing and whining.

Ref is looking right at an obvious trip and never raises arm to make the call. What is he looking at? Not that it matters in this case but come on.

@@lax6269 ? I...I think you need to take a look at the video. It's zoomed in and slowed down. It's skate on skate contact. So incidental to start. Ekblad does seem to reach out and trip Foegele afterwards, though.

@@lax6269 Ok, well at least now you've seen that Foegele didn't push Ekblad. Now take a look at what both players were trying to do. Foegele trying to skate past on the left. And he has Ekblad beat. Their skates touch (which could be tripping by Ekblad, except he takes the worst of it).
