Kasper: You guys play your 100th game for the national team today, it couldn’t have been on a more fantastic place and it couldn’t have been with a more fantastic result. I think only 8 Danes have achieved this (100 games), so that you guys achieve this together is actually quite unique. Simon the first time I met you is with the U21 nation team in Germany. I didn’t know there were so many Dolce Gabbana clothes, I guess I was wrong. We played one game together and then you moved on and then you’ve been on the A-team ever since. You had your debut in Sweden and it has been fantastic to follow your progress. Your progress both as a player, as a captain and as a leader. It has been a pleasure. Christian the same to you. Not a lot can be said about you that hasn’t been already. Amazing player, too bad you played in Tottenham (laughs) now you’ve finally moved on. Pierre: Best club Kasper: It’s a pleasure to play with you guys. It’s an honor actually. To achieve 100 games is something everyone in here dreams about, and again, to do that together is unique. Eriksen: It’s somehow difficult to say anything… Everyone knows how special it is to play for the national team, and for so long. I’ve almost spent more time with you guys than I’ve spent at home. It’s crazy. I almost consider you as my family. Everyone on the team, all the new players, it’s a pleasure to be among you. Some of you I’ve played with longer than others, but everyone on this team you quickly get a connection to. It’s so easy to settle in and make results because it’s such a good group. We all get along. It’s a pleasure both on and off the pitch. I’ve been so lucky to have played this many games, and the goals have also started to come after I’ve been allowed to take the penalty shots (laughter). But it’s a huge honor and I’m incredibly proud. As I’ve said to most of the press, when you’ve played a 100 games and is still active, it’s difficult to put in to words what it means, before you actually retire. Hopefully there’ll be many more years before I retire. I hope I have plenty of games left. I am incredibly proud to be a part of this. A big thank you to everyone.
