When planning an island hopping tour in El Nido, which one is better, Tour A or Tour B?

I went on private island hopping tours to find out which one between the popular Tour A and the less crowded Tour B is better, to help you make a deicision, especially if you are short on time!
Tour A included 5 stops: The big and small lagoons, the hidden lagoon, snorkeling spot, Seven Commandos Beach, and Shimizu Island. I loved the big lagoon, and would highly suggest that instead of renting a kayak, you opt to swim through it. It was the best way to experience the big lagoon, in my opinion! Because it was a private tour, I was able to customize my routes and avoid the crowds. We had the hidden lagoon, Seven Commandos Beach and Shimizu Island all to ourselves for a good few minutes, which would not have been possible on a group tour.

Tour B also included 5 stops: Entalula Beach, Snake Island, Cudugnon Cave, Cathedral Cave, and Pinagbuyutan Island. Note that because it was a private tour, I was able to reverse the route, which ended up being a great decision as we had all spots all to ourselves / shared with just a few other people! The tour is also less popular compared to Tour A, but enjoyable nonetheless.

I just came back from the Philippines and I fell in love with El Nido! If you're visiting El Nido, forget about staying in the city center, there's too much hassle and chaos. Get yourself accommodation in a place that's 10-15 min away from the town and you'll see the difference! As for the tours, we took Kraken Tours and couldn't be happier! They have 2 tours (K1 and K2) where they join the best of tour A and B and tour C and D, so in 2 days you can see the best of all tours! They leave the beach 2 hours after all the other boats, so you don't get to see any other boats at the destinations! The boat capacity is for 30 people, but they only take 15, so that means a lot of space on a big boat! There's music, an amazing buffet all freshly prepared on board and an incredible team ready to make your visit to El Nido unforgettable! We couldn't be happier to have had the chance to be in such an amazing place!

Great review. Despite having lived here in the Philippines all 42 years of my life, haven’t been to romblon unfortunately. Been to El Nido twice already and it’s breathtaking. Love the honesty of your video. It’s quite sad that a few percentage of the tours here are starting, lack of a better word, exploit the tourists. But I do hope that majority of our tourist destination and keep that FILIPINO HOSPITALITY going. Land of Smiles, they say. Except for Manila ✌️😅

Been here twice. If at all possible always go around the Philippines with a Filipino (My wifes Filipino), you will get to see so many locations the tourists don't know about and see the most unspoiled spots. El Nido though is always top of my list of recommendations

You've got to do it as a carry on. I have a mavic and just carry it on! Get some experience with it before flying it around that area. It loses signal constantly and the takeoff and landing areas can be very small.

Really nice tours if its not touristy or peak season. However the corals are kinda dead coz its gray, or it isnt? Im not an expert. I enjoyed watching it . Great job.

Tour A will be more crowded than B and has lagoons but tour B has caves and sand bars so I'd pick based on what you want to see more!

😊 thanks for the nice video 👍🏼☀️Unfortunately it’s no longer possible to have your own selection of the islands ☹️ You can do group or private boat tours, but you will be restricted to the official route only, unfortunately... They want to have a better control on how many people are entering/leaving the islands, and they loose this control if tourists make their own routes.
