Why is Belize so diverse I have Belizean roots and had no idea it was so diverse it stands out from almost All Caribbean/latin America countries

Hey Primo! I’m honduran , my results were similar but I had no Greece , I had Scandinavian for some reason (another honduran KZfaqr had that too) that’s a first , most Hondurans have more British/German/ Native /African lineage with of course Spanish cause of Belize & Jamaica & Cuba.

Mi han dicho mis suegros que en españa hubieron bastantes de macedonia y se mesclaron con españoles y tambien escocia, advino que de los rasgos españoles viene lo de 'balkans y escocia'

Ireland Scotland comes from the celt-iberian in mostly the galicia area of northern Spain and the European coming from the Spanish including the Portuguese possibly also from galicia area look up galician- Portuguese language how it evolved

salvadorenos are basicly indians with some spaniard blood and arab and yes i forgot we have african blood thats where we got the cumbias playing drums all the time

Idk man im Salvadoran and am “huero” curly hair a big sharp European nose and am 6’2, parents are from chalatenango and sensutepeque, and my dad’s family tend to have freckles and red beards

I don't bother with these, based on my physique and rest of my family's I am sure I am around 60% if not more American Indigenous. Like no one in my family has traits from other ethnicities. I'd probably be a little curious if I had family that looked diversed.

@@replay_that_one1897 Oh, I haven't done a test yet. I just know I am 50% Chalatenango (1/4 Azacualpa, 1/4 San Antonio) and 50% San Salvador.

EL Salvador is mainly indigenous/european from spain also. The rest of smal mixes came after.

Indigenous/ Spanish Mestizos don't really exist today. Mostly all Latinos have African and other mixes in there.

@@reptile9709 Africans escaped slavery into latin america and intermingled, so it has nothing to do with rape. Yes 90 should have at least 1 percent african but usually 10 to 15 percent is mixed in with what people think are "mestizos". History is about finding our roots and understanding ourselves, not about pleasing.
