Spider-Man Remastered on PS5 has some interesting additions. The most noteworthy is the performance mode at dynamic 4K and 60fps. On the other hand, Insomniac offers us a fidelity mode, which locks the framerate at 30fps by adding ray-tracing at 2160p. The change in lighting is also a remarkable element (and from my point of view, right). Some textures have also been improved, the drawing distance and the number of elements on the screen (cars, people ... etc) has been increased. It is a good adaptation for the new Sony console. Por otro lado, Insomniac nos ofrece un modo fidelidad, que bloquea el framerate a 30fps añadiendo ray-tracing a 2160p. El cambio de iluminación también es un elemento destacable (y bajo mi punto de vista, acertado). También se han mejorado algunas texturas, la distancia de dibujado y se ha aumentado el número de elementos en pantalla (coches, personas… etc). Es una buena adaptación para la nueva consola de Sony.

The only things I don’t like in the remastered are the lighting in some cutscenes looking too bright and offsetting the tone and peters face (I’m kinda used to it now considering you play as Spider-Man 90% of the time but still prefer the old face).

I finished the remastered version the other day and i wasn't blown away by the visuals at all playing in fidelity mode. Its clear the game is just a remaster from PS4 based textures. Miles Morales on the other hand you could clearly see a generation leap in visuals, particularly in some indoor scenes with a lot of reflections. Oddly enough its when i have the animated suit on that it really starts to pop out how great the environment looks

My sister was lucky enough to get a ps5 for 25 bucks through a raffle, been playing spiderman with performance mode on my 1080p tv (and motionflow settings on even if its not the best for gaming) and it looks like i have 4k tv. I dont even know what 4k looks like but after years of playing with a res lower than 1080 on my xbox, shit is whole different experience for me, like flying a jet at the highest altitude. It really is amazing, and the 60fps really does it for me.

It should be noted that this games uses insomniac games temporal injection to upsample to 4k whenever the game renders natively below that. Which is and I quote digital foundry "the closest thing to native 4k without actually being native 4k".

Since I never played the PS4 version, I set it to fidelity mode for 75% of the game for both games. I knew once I saw what 60 FPS was like I would not want to go back. I think I made the right decision because I got to enjoy the best visuals while doing story missions and then got a second wind once I turned on 60 FPS mode to finish the games off with collectables. The interiors of the buildings in Miles Morales really do look (more) amazing in fidelity mode because of the neon aesthetic/lighting compared the original.

The remaster for this game is great; but we’ve got to give it to Insomniac this game looked beautiful on PS4 Pro. If I’m honest we’ve gotta give all devs credit for getting stable framerates on those Jaguar CPUs for 7 years; considering how behind they were when PS4/XB1 came out and not to mention the fact that they only overclocked them for XB1X/PS4Pro.

Me resulta curioso ver lo muy equivocados que estan los reflejos normales sin Ray tracing. Me he fijado en varios videos acerca de lo mucho que cambia la intensidad y posicion de las sombras junto con los reflejos "reales" de Ray tracing, y las simulaciones sin esta tecnología. Me pregunto que pensaran ahora aquellos expertos encargados de realizar dicho trabajo y ver lo muy alejado que estaban de la realidad.

Hola, de querer quiero la ps5 pero no quiero gastar tanto aún, pefiero esperar a alguna revisión, mi unico interés son los exclusivos de sony, así que iré por una ps4 pero quisiera saber si en su opinión es mucha la diferencia de ps4 slim a ps4 pro, en mi país no encuentro una ps4 pro nueva, solo slim y con 3 juegos incluidos por lo que no decido si comprar esa o seguir buscando la pro, solo jugaría a los exclusivos de sony y tal vez call of duty, ya que cuento con una PC para jugar a todos los demás juegos
