level 400 don't mean much in the dlc it is all about the scadutree fragments

@@mh_golfer it means something when it comes to his actual stats and equipment load tho, almost every person I've seen has started new chars for this DLC. And they're all between 150-200 when they reach radahn. So making a guide like this can in many cases be useless.

@@mh_golfer Recommended level for the DLC at NG is ~150 and max fragments only double your attack + halves your taken damage. Someone at level 400 isn't going be double someone at 150 but it's a still considerable increase, probably an extra 40 to 50% stat-wise given the diminishing returns of stat increase that most other players doing the DLC don't have. It's not completely broken but also not something the devs really planned for.

@@mh_golferit does mean something when your level 400 and the bosses scale up in damage and health and resistances the higher into NG+ you go so yes yes it does and it’s common knowledge they get stronger with each play through up to 7 🗿🦞

@@pepsiman1793 I did it with the following approach: - Bullgoat 4/4. - Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman - Golden Braid - Pearldrake Talisman +3 - Great Jar's Arsenal. - Fingerprint shield +10. - Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear +10. - Mimic Tear +10 (Revered Ash +8). - Scadutree Blessing 19. - 80 Vigor. - 80 Endurance. - 80 Strength. - 25 Dexterity. - 25 Faith. - 60 Arcane, - Whatever Mind you want. - Whatever Intellect you want. Get in the area, summon Mimic Tear once you avoided the initial charge. Then proceed to poke this MF to death. During phase 2... Poke this MF to death. Did it in like 2 tries with this approach.

Same level and took me like 10 tries but it certainly works...but you really need RNG on his attacks because sometimes it's just not meant to be. Blocking with the hammer makes a ton of difference to anyone reading this. Also I used savage Lion's claw for the extra hit and I did it without breaking his stance once.

400 doesn’t mean anything. After 180 or so you have your str end and HP maxed. The other stats do nothing for you

@@Budd631 Thats not true. Maybe Damage and Life is maxed, but you can carry so much more weight when your Endurance is high. In this Video he is a full Tank. Best possible Armor with Mid Roll. You cant reach that at level 150 till 200. Also you might run out of Mana for your Special Attack. So you have to cut 1 heal potion or must drink one in the Fight. What im saying is.. its not a huge Difference for rly good Players. A Bigger one for the others.

You dont need level 400, with level 165 you should be able to do it. The only thing you need for scaling is str, hp vig, and endurance for stamina, everything else is effectively useless.

@@ohnononose173 Im using his exact build, 60 strenght, 60 vigor, a lot of focus and endurance and then 25 faith for the Golden Vow. Im using the same weapon at max level, same talismans, and armor with as high poise as possible. Same tears, yet i cannot stagger him and his attacks almost insta kill me so I cannot "ignore the damage" like the guy in the video does. Also, scadurtree at level 20, so that is at max level as well. I dont know what to do. I dont have time to summon mimic in first phase as well becuase he doesnt leave any room for attacks. Most of the times I can make it to phase 2, and I made it to the part where he turns into a sun or comet or whatever but that attack insta kills me, ive made it to this part a couple of times. ive tried blocking, dodging but have no idea when to actually dodge so I just end up dying. If I couldve dodged that part I couldve maybe defeated him by now but thats without a cheese build, this build sucks for "low level" players like myself, as this build focuses on tanking hits and just spamming the Ash Of War. I dont know how the the guy in the video can take so many hits

i cannot stress how vital melanias rune is, you NEED to be able to heal through his attacks.

@@Bigboyjarvis it is nice to have but you don't need it for this build, i used Radahn's rune (didn't have Ashen Capital in my NG+ save yet) and was able to do this cheese.

@@Kleptoplasm. 60 vig, 25 faith with clawmark seal is enough, i went with 40 mind so i don't run out of blue juice and get as much STR as possible. worked perfectly in like 3 tries. just need to get a bit lucky with his moves in P2

He does stagger after 3 hits but they have to be close together. There is an invisible "stagger bar" that fills up but also goes back down the longer between hits. To test it, just go in there and dodge the charge and just do the Ash of War attack 3 times, let him hit you during it just cast it 3 times back to back. (If you aren't using the ash of war attack that's also why it's taking more than 3 hits)

@@curryjl1027 im using the ash of war but his attacks keep knocking me out of the attack animation so i cant do it back to back. maybe thats why but i def hit him a total of 12 times with the ash of war and nothing happened. feel like im missing something here

@@daniellally486 You are, you need 51 (is what I have read but I had 53 when I first started this) poise. If you are getting knocked down on the first attack it's likely you have low poise. Try boosting it up past 51 and see how that works for you.

make sure not to summon those quest NPC's, they basically raise his poise to infinite; i'm on New Game and this worked for me.

I just did it on NG+. Make sure you're using the standard Lion's Claw and not the double Lion's Claw from the DLC which seems to have less poise damage.

@@LOTUZSPAWN literally killed radahn in 27 tries at level 150, I don’t need a full vigor bar, fp bar, or endurance bar as a crutch. It’s just stupid to make a tutorial video while overleveled because the strats in this video don’t really work well when you have to pop more blue flasks in the fight or can’t wear the same armor without a talisman because your stats aren’t the same. Ironically, struggling while overleveled is the skill issue.
