Know what’s really disappointing? There’s a great katana that looks like rivers or blood/eleonaras with the red/black blade, but it doesn’t have any Arc scaling nor does its unique ash have any blood theme too it

@@bruh3622 poison and rot perfumers bottles. The martial arts can be set to blood, poison or occult and have a lot of fast attacks so buildup is quick. Didn’t see much otherwise

So many references to guts. I'm just happy to have a few irish accents in the game. Lots of irish references in the base game like siofra river. Siofra (she_oh_frah) is irish for fairy. Goal is old irish for jail. Physic is old irish for nutrition/health. Even torrent is a reference to the spirit horse that took the irish pagans across the fog to Tír na nóg(teer-nah-no-g) which was essentially the afterlife

I am pretty sure that the black steel greathammer passive doesn't scale with the holy affinity, just holy weapon buffs like sacred blade, so you might as well use the heavy affinity on it for better dmg.

I love the Black Knight armor. My favorite chest piece was the Altered Ronin chest, but I farmed the black knights (don't know if they drop the shield or if you get it elsewhere) and the chest looks amazing. Changed into it right away.

I got the shield on that beginning church instead of the hammer. You can farm the shield after the bridge at the beginning on the left side there's a black knight you can farm over and over.

I found a incantation called electrocharge. Calls down lightning thats has lasting aoe and charges attacks. Think its meant for brawler gloves. And also poison hand

@JUDPT walking around wildlife I now realize it does tick damage within proximity and infuses ur attacks with lightning for bout a minute or so. It doesn't stack with flame grant me stenght

The weapons I was most excited for was the backhand blades that gives a cool assassin type vibe and they do not disappoint they are really good. I was also exited for beast claws and dry leaf arts but once I got them they felt underwhelming to me.

@@MrHellweasel well idk how they are going to be for you because I’m max lvl but for me they are good damage for such fast attacks and if you run a frost or bleed build on them with the rotten wing talisman they get 10x better

The best statspread probably will be 40/40/40/40. However strength and dexterity are primary focus. They're very much endgame weapon. Entire combo consume a lot of stamina and ash of war isn't cheap.

Dragon-hunter katana is a disappointment for me. No arc scaling and the weapon art does not penetrate shields. I think the normal great katana (or potentially some of the other great katanas I have not found yet) are better and more versatile.

Gotta be honest I’m disappointed with the dlc. The scaling of damage dealt and damage taken is terrible. They have literally made my level 478 character null and void. I get 1/2 shot and do little to no damage even with blessings. Loved Original Elden Ring but I hate the dlc. The scaling and boss fights so far off the mark. Not impressed at all. It’s parked until they fix the scaling and if they don’t fix the scaling then it’s lights out. Another company who does not respect time invested. And they do not want people playing co op. Put this on the product when you sell it to us so we know exactly what we are buying.
