Whatever is happening in The Lands Between, the Fell Gods want nothing but to snuff out all light screaming at them, for they are restless, angry and tired.

Chadahn really gave Fire Giant a real fight it was fun to watch.

If you look closely, Radahn could’ve won that but Fire Chad’s leg (which Radahn tried to attack) clipped through the terrain so he couldn’t deal any damage.

I've noticed that fire giant rolls again if enemy is nearby, so it's how he's made. Since after rolling godskin duo was still nearby, he keeps rolling forever

That was not panic rolling, he was channeling Whitney's Miltank and unleashing the divine power of Rollout against the two annoying dark/fire types for super effective damage

its because she is meant to fight the player and are not constantly aggressive unlike Bosses like Fire Giant... Mohg, Godfrey and Malenia most of time are just edgewalking towards their opponent that leads them to get destroyed.

Yeah that was some BS; one of the problems with her ai is that she can be very passive when at range, but honestly I think she legit bugged out in the video, because she actually stopped attacking altogether until p2, even when she was close to him. The fire giant might not have even gotten her to phase 2 if she didn't stop attacking when she did.

Sekiro Dubi is a lore channel which looks through old code to tease out cut content, with said title being revealed in a video detailing cut dialogue from Enia. Also, if you're interested in the lore as it exists in Elden Ring's final release, I would heartily recommend a channel by the name of The Tarnished Archaeologist, he has some amazing videos detailing the potential real-world inspirations and connections to various aspects of the lore and environments in-game. TLDR: Sekiro Dubi has videos concerning his title, one of which is linked above. The Tarnished Archaeologist is a damn good lore channel as well.

It was great to see that move finally happen, yeah. I was hoping he'd land the gravity spiral move though, I'm curious if it would be a multi-hit or a single hit per sweep. Either way, that was one of the best fights in this video.

yea weapons always do same poise damage regardless of how much Actual damage they do. the dmg to poise is always the same, whether your stats on strenght/dex are 10 or 99.

Fire giant actually loses to some other bosses the majority of the time, the outcomes can be very rng dependent, especially with the fire giant because things go very differently if the other boss happens to land attacks on his left leg in the fire phase. This is the first vid I've seen where Godfrey didn't win against him.

And this is basically an old, undying cripple. Watching him walk with his shield/platter like a crutch during the Placi fight is really revealing just in what poor physical condition he is in.

I have seen Placi win against him but rarely. Also, Malekith died prematurely but understandably so as he was in the middle of an attack. What was surprising though was how Firegiant almost destroyed Malenia. I mean if Firegiant had separate health for each phase, he could have won. That was unexpected to me. She dealt low damage or From nerfed her again?

Didn't help that she literally summoned the dumbest spirits against him; those dogs got wiped out in one sweep the instant they manifested. It would have been neat to see the dragon summon to at least prolong the fight a little bit.

She regularly bodies Radagon which is both hilarious and satisfying.

Yes, dude, when I saw the cutscene on Radahn arena I was "wow that's epic!" Then It was skipped...

Makes me wonder, though, does the cutscene location really change, or is it only the sky box? In every phase transition, there are branches on the right side of the screen, which are only present in his own arena.

It's only a different skybox. There are no white trees in Radahn's arena.

@@YangBalanceYin that’s what I noticed. And in another video where Godfrey fought against the Fire Giant (with a workable grab, no less), I noticed that it was a completely different skybox. That, and both Placidusax’s arena & Godfrey’s arena has different floor textures.

Sadly, the way that move is programmed requires the camera to move to the boss. Since it tracks the Player specifically.

@@eetfuk3571 Fire giant couldn't dodge the Fire ritual (what was doing most of the damage) thanks to the small arena, normally he could get out of the flames with his panic rolling.

His kit seems made for that kind of encounter : Arrow Rain similar to Aldrich, higiest poise in the game and probably the strongest attack against bosses (Meteor)

a boss with two health bars won?! im shocked!! and if fire giant did his belly fire she woulda been frieeed in one hit. 99% of the cast would kill him if they had 2 health bars. dont even need rot, waterfowl or life steal. just another life bar. which she gets for absolutely no reason - and rykard gets just for turning over. he doesnt even transform just moves a little so his face is showing and gets another life bar so of course he almost kills the giant cuz he had more time to deal damage with all that second health. how MALIKETH doesnt get a second life despite literally FULLY transforming into another being is beyond me. i mean its not even like he looks injured once hes transformed in the cinematic either lmao.

That was just bad rng right there. Fire Giant almost never uses the breath attack as his first move upon activating 2nd phase.

Fire giant only got as far as he did against Malenia because she bugged out and stopped attacking in phase 1. Malenia would steamroll the giant if she consistently attacks; she might not even have gone to her second phase at all. Maliketh would probably win against the giant in most cases, but his low health pool makes it a huge rng fest; I would be interested to see Maliketh start with a full health bar at phase 2-- he'd probably melt the fire giant.

I wouldn't count Elden Beast, it only won because the fire giant started at 30-40%, if he was fresh he wouldn't even get to the second phase. If anything Elden Beast almost lost despite the fact that the giant was almost dead.
