Alternative Tear recommendation: Oil-Soaked Tear (new) which buffs fire damage output some more, albeit you do have to get up close to your target to apply the effect.

Alternatively, if you aren't super into the faith aspect: a level 150 Str Focus version with a Confessor class start: 60 vig 18 mind 30 endur 60 str 18 dex 9 int 25 faith (still cast GV and FGS) 9 Arc would give a Fire Affinity Fire Knight Greatsword a base AR of 884. Run the same talismans, and can afford to hit heavier armor if want since you have an extra 5 in Endurance. For reference: your current setup gives a Base AR of 879 on the weapon and then your seal would be an AR of 260 ish.

You can use Messmer healmet to power up fire knight skills and incantations

I reccomend Messmers helm over Winged Serpent. You lose 2% damage to the aow but gain 3-4% on your incants. But it depends what you use more of

Welp this is the first I've seen of the DLC. I was creating a Flame Knight build in the base game and doing some research to see what was out there already and didn't realize they literally added this into the game. lol Super cool but also not sure what to do with my build.

There are too many fire based mobs in DLC to choose the fire element as primary source of power. That's like fighting the fire giant boss with this build doesn't make sense. I would stay away from the fire and lighting and maybe even holy base elements as build and stick to the other like ice, o bleed or even poison.
