Talismans (54/115) (54/154): - Concealing Veil. * Part 5 of Boc the Seamster’s sidequest is the second opportunity to give him the Gold Sewing Needle (which, in this playthrough, is obtained on video 040) but, to do so, you need to possess one of the five alterable pieces of demigod armor (Elden Lord Armor, Radahn’s Lion Armor, Lord of Blood’s Robe, Maliketh’s Armor or Malenia’s Armor). This will be also your first opportunity to learn the Gesture ‘My Lord’ from him, but you have to give him the Gold Sewing Needle as well for such. In case you don’t do it here, it can be done in part 6 of his sidequest. ** There’s a dialog scene involving Melina and Boc (Boc and his Mother 2) in a similar fashion to a dialog scene that happened in video 036 (Boc and his Mother 1) but, unlike the first scene, for the second to happen, you have to give Boc the Gold Sewing Needle and, to do so, you need to possess one of the five alterable pieces of demigod armor (Elden Lord Armor, Radahn’s Lion Armor, Lord of Blood’s Robe, Maliketh’s Armor or Malenia’s Armor). The earliest one you can get requires defeating Radahn, which, for the purpose of this playthrough, will only be done after concluding Dung Eater’s sidequest, which, for its turn, can be done only after I reach Leyndell, Royal Capital, which, for its turn, will advance Boc the Seamster’s sidequest to Part 6, making the dialog scene ‘Boc and his Mother 2’ missable. So, in the face of what I have explained above, Melina will not appear in this video; I’m only warning that the scene exists.
