is the pureblood Knight Ansbach a player summon or an npc summon? and how did you even get him to fight with you

@@Nixyssa NPC summon and you get him by doing questlines..... as always in souls games... he will be in front of fog gate when you did some of his quests

Pretty sure someone already did that naked with shield + weapon. 90% of his attacks can be parried.

@@ItchyBackside I think I saw someone like that, but I found the video sus. The guy triggered bleed with a dagger in like 2 hits and got a 20k dmg riposte at one point whereas other people have to hit him like 5-6 times for triggering the first bleed

Took me 4-6 hours on dual colossals. We are the epitome of men.

I also used thorns, but I put no points into vigor along with taking more damage with the talismans and helmet I had. So legit all of his moves would one shot me. 😂

I believe there are other strategies now like the perma shield+ bleed wep strat or the bloodfiend arm wep full dps arcane bleed combo or the lightning perfume ground spam cheese trick. All of which are easier to execute imo.

playing this on NG++ is utter hell. i have level 19 blessing and with this build i got him to about 10% health but i can not figure out some of the phase two attack patterns for the life of me

No. The skill is just broken with instant bleed proc with 70 arcane. Weapon also scales well with arcane and procs bleed faster with both my spam + mimic spam

Yes level 20. Otherwise you can't afford to get hit 90% of the time and your mimic tear will have trouble tanking hits.

I did a blood build with the same sorcery with the matriarch staff at level 12 and mimic tear level 5, the talisman was, icon of Godfrey, radagon icon, legendary dragon Crest and The Lord of blood's exaltation with the white mask And It was all in one playthrough

Actually, I just use this build myself and it is utter cheese because the new spell impenetrable thorns is so broken. It’s actually not funny.😂

Use a fingerprint shield in left hand instead of the staff of the guilty, just hold block until your summons draw aggro and hit him with the ole thorns

Hmm seems to work for many others before. Unless there is a new recent patch that changed the attack interaction of Radahn.

each summon adds 60% hp to the boss so I don't think they are nice, also they die pretty quickly

just beat him ng 7 maternal staff maxxed vig 76 mind 60 end 38 str 24 (wanted to use commander's standard but did not, you can ignore str) dex 20 (don't remember what for tbh) int and fth 26 arc 81 pregame ritual: summon thiollier, while waiting for ansbach to unlock pop a great rune (got radahn's) and do golden vow (i used the dragon communion seal), summon ansbach, go to the fog wall. do flame grant me strength, do wondrous physick (opaline both), enter. summon mimic tear if he does not jump soon (started feeling the timing, if he does jump then roll, maybe get a hit in, dodge till thiollier or ansbach get aggro and spawn mimic tear) and then j have fun!!!! full verdigris set, golden braid, physical and pearlescent greatshield and great-jar's arsenal did need to learn some movesets but im definitely not good still

@@thrive8388 i tried it out on my 2nd go at him at the ng+ cap and it is still really good even if you don't fully optimize for it. Went str8 to the dlc on the 2nd run of it and didn't gave rennala unlocked to respec and it did really quick work of him at like 72 int and 60 arc with mothers staff and all talismans were pretty much pure defense

60 vigor 70 arcane 25 faith (for golden vow+ flame buff) . 25mind. The rest can be split into endurance for more stamina and skill spam or int for more damage.

Try to wait for your summons to do enough damage first and for Radahn to be stuck in his attack animation (last few hits of attacks before opening) before going in for the spam. Eventually there will be times where Radahn goes for you so you will still need to know his attack patterns to dodge them sadly

Sometimes you have to die and wait till he delays the dashing gravity bs attack, where you'll have enough time to summon. Often times you'll need to wait to summon ur mimic

@@aaronmufc10 yeah i finally managed to kill him after like 3 ish hours. i really love this dlc and have had fun with every boss except Radahn so far. he is genuinely a bs boss with too much AOE and quick timing abilities. even bael and messmer only took me a few attempts but radahn is a whole dif beast

@@joselopez3919 the summon signs would be right outside the fog wall. but you have to progress through Ansbachs questline to be able to summon him. Thollier is also summonable if you progressed his questline.

@@user-cm9eu2uq6r it doesn't scale past NG7 every run after that has the same scaling so you're just calling each run + difficulty when it's the same each NG+ - 7 refers to difficulty scaling after you hit ng7 and rerunning you're just doing NG7 runs you don't call it NG8 and go up for each run...the only thing harder than NG7 is SL1
