Text leaks show he betrayed our lord and saviour Plasci, attacked him and the battle resulted in the brutal injuries both sustained, he then fled and was the reason for the lesser dragons existence

@@masterofcolddark6892Far as I am aware there is nothing to have suggested this to be the case. We know that the age of dragons was long before Marika became a god and that possibly the age of the crucible was in between. But it is possible there were other ages even between dragon and crucible.

@@gangzilla5716 if I heard right, Bayle FLED fighting Placi, so while he did do in the Dragon Lord's heads, Placi's still probably stronger, especially seeing what Bayle's current body looks like(look at his broken right wing, the bone's sticking out while the left wing's just cut.

This is the best dragon fight FromSoftware has made. The buildup to his fight as you climb the mountain, with all of the red lighting raging around the peak. The 2nd phase of his fight where his music starts kicking in. Not Midir nor Placidusax can top him now.

@@Ultradocker The reason I prefer this boss fight is I much more enjoy dodging large single attacks than multi hit combos with mixups where you can never tell when it will end. (i.e. Rellana) Bayle has clear punish windows and rewards proper positioning and timing. Once you get the fight down all his moves have very clear timings on when to dodge. Aoe spam does in fact suck if you plan on tanking every single attack, so I can see why this fight might not be fun if you’re more of a sword and shield player or dislike dodging moves.

Man I gotta say this is the hardest boss I’ve faced yet, he was quite the challenge for me but I took him down. And I have to say he’s the best dragon from software has given us. everything about his design and his Bossfight in general is brutally amazing. Just the way he attacks alone really sells this boss for me, and as he flails, and pounds his broken limbs towards you in almost a desperate attempt to completely annihilate your existence is just so cool. Almost all of his limbs are missing besides one leg and he still manages to put up An amazing fight really tells you how powerful he is especially since he thought the dragon lord himself and debatably won. And especially when he enters his second phase and starts flying around the arena. Raining hellfire down at you before crashing into the ground at mock speed and showcasing even more amazing attacks he has It’s just phenomenal.

Was this guy once human? his wings look really deformed, and yet he can breathe a mix of fire and lightning, and has a secondary pair of wings that enable flight. If that case is true, then he might be the closet a human has gotten to becoming a full dragon.

I believe his lore is he betrayed, fought, and fled from Lord Placi. His wings were ripped off. He also has one of Placi's head burrowed into his kneck

@@andys3279 You are being kinda crazy, though. 2 Malenia's that get healed after every strike is literally an impossible boss fight. This is possible, just very hard. I just beat it after some 60+ tries. His first moveset is not that bad to get down, the second moveset goes crazy; the key is that a lot of his attacks are NOT safe to reply in kind. The best one I used to get some hits in is when he is doing like a 3 hit combo and you get under him. I also used Maliketh's Blade Blade to quickly whittle down health in those key moments. He's definitely higher than Malenia in difficulty, but as long as you know what you're doing; you got this.
