@@apolloisnotashirt I'm just glad Mogh beat the charges, I no longer have to hide that he is my favorite boss. His music, his motiff, his lore...is Master level design. He is one of just a couple of bosses, who I felt actually mattered to the plot. Most of the game feels I am just pruning the family tree, and for like no reason too. Everyone hates Marika, yet everyone just tries to prevent you from fixing the destruction she caused.

The problem with Miquella's path is that he would create his world of compassion by stripping people of their free will. He may have the best interests of everyone in mind, but a world without free will, even a paradise, is not one worth living in. This is why Ranni's path of darkness and uncertainty is still the best ending.

Radahn is not resurrected to his prime. He is amplified beyond his prime, by Mohg's body (bloodflame) and Miquella's power.

To be fair Isshin is also amplified when resurrected since he becomes immortal due to rejuvenating water and he has a Mortal blade.

@@bennelson8667 Yeah, but not by gameplay design, in that aspect Midra and Messmer are better: an hard and fair boss is a good design, an hard and only fair in phase 1, but that also requires the player to go trial and error learning every timing (like Malenia for example) isn't that good of a design. I'm not saying it's not a good fight, it's up there as one of the best fights in the game, but not by design And honestly the lightning effects aren't a problem at all in my opinion

No offense to this guy but the game isn’t the same with mimic tear. He was playing way too sloppy to ever have a chance against this boss solo (which says more about how ridiculous this boss is than him)

I know some people beat this boss solo and even no hit, but this one is my favourite because it is a true fight, he is taking damage, the summon die, the boss shows his whole skill set, so for me, it feels authentic, he is not using shields and cheese builds. it’s like a pretty good show to rewatch this fight without playing the game again at again, and Im personally not against summons. (Take note that I commented this when almost nobody beat this boss and it was before any patch)

@@jeune-fou ngl rellana is def easier depending on build. I tried fighting her for proboly 7-8 hours with rivers of blood, switched to naga uchigatana with a ash of war for staggering and killed her less then a hour later.

I beat her after a handful of tries by staggering her with the hammer. But I've been fighting this dick head for a week. Honestly, he's easier without the summons

not a hot take, his hitbox was bugged af. Gaius hitbox is bugged in the DLC like that too, that charge is borderline undodgeable at close distance. Only boss where it wasn't a skill issue, and the only boss where "git gud" meant nothing to me lol

Yeah, I feel the same way. Most fun I've had on a boss in any game. This is what I imagine when I fight a god. You had to use the dodge, block, jump mechanics, learn his moveset very carefully, experiment with builds, what works, what didnt work. I've tried at least 6 different builds with all kinds of small changes between those. Tried tons of things that I never really tried before, so it was a fun experiment session. It's a shame so many people dislike the fight, purely because "grrr hes too hard, I don't see shit." Thats the point that he's hard. You see a lot less than maybe any other boss fight, but you can still see what he's about to do, and you can still learn with trial and error. His second phase is also very balanced for summons. His mirage attacks go to the non-aggrod attacker, and his normal attack to the aggrod, for example. I couldn't imagine a more fun boss for the DLC than this.

use armor, buffs, talismans, and items to increase your damage negation as much as you can. I use the dragoncrest greatshield talisman, marika's braid, plus golden vow, the all damage negation bubbletear for the flask and the crab meat before the fight. I'm on +15 fragments and my damage negation can get to 75 to 80 with everything applied, and i can take quite a number of hits

So the fight is still BS lol all artificial difficulty

@@camarobro1897 yeah I’m starting to totally agree with this. Second phase is just stunlock, screen pollution, and chip damage. Not to mention frame drops. Pretty cool fight but they really are running out of ways to challenge the players it seems.

Uhhhh no, it’s in the lore: on the night of black knives Godwyn was killed in soul but his body remained, and Ranni killed her Empyrean flesh, but her soul remained. So no, Godwyn could not be miquella’s consort as his soul cannot be reincarnated.

The ending sucked bad, so as the last fight, felt weird.

I loved the ending and tons of other people do, plus it’s lore accurate, which I particularly absolutely love. “Finding a way” to break the lore you’ve established so @MrAleHalen can get what they want is a sure way to destroy your reputation as good storytellers
