Hello everybody, this is just a nice quick video on reaching the boss 'Starscourge Radahn' in Elden Ring as I have seen no video up yet for it, and I myself was a little confused for a while on getting to him.

For anybody that still doesn't know why the portal isn't active, I suggest you get both medallion parts and use the dectus lift. I had the same problem and it worked right after I used the lift.

If the portal isn't working for you do the following: -Go to Fort Gael and clear it. On top of the main tower there is a gateway. If you take it, you will be teleported across the Impassable Greatbridge where Radhan's castle is located. -Take the gateway next to you again there will be one for each side of the Greatbridge. If you have been at this castle already, there is usually an entire army of people shooting at you with catapults and arrows, there is a giant and a lot of really strong enemies overall. But if you go to the castle in this way, the castle will now be deserted because everyone is at the festival and the armies have been recalled! -You can roam around the castle to pick up items, and now there are practically no enemies, since all soldiers have been recalled. An exception being the two lion beasts along the outer courtyard, and some minor enemies sprinkled about. -When ready, head to the central courtyard next to the grace as the video shows, begin your festival, and happy hunting! ♥ I hope it helps for those of you who's portals aren't active! ♥

@@xVoyagerr She is behind a door after you kill pumpkinhead. Don't teleport out of the ruins once you kill him, look for a door and she will be through that door!

I cleared Fort Gael and used the teleporter, when I was teleported, the fortress was full of enemies and the teleporters on the bridge weren’t active. What did I do wrong?

@@al3os If you do Ranni's questline you run into him eventually, and I believe one of the vendors or something gives you a finger snap gesture to summon him in the mistwood when you hear howling

I definitely expected a challenge going into this boss fight but was pretty disappointed, i barely tried and he kept missing me because i dared go near him, first time ever fighting the boss and beating the boss, yarn

He was stronger at launch he had oversized hitboxes that didn't make sense at all. Then they nerfed him and he became a cakewalk sadly.

That means you either haven't encountered enough npcs out in the world to participate in the festival fight along with you, or you likely have to do Ranni The Witch's questline a little, as one of her followers participates in the Radahn festival, and she has to do with the moon and the stars. Killing Radahn is also a part of her questline.

I believe it should be on by default, but you may be missing some sort of pre-requisite event to have it turn on.

It's either locked behind Ranni's questline, you haven't killed Rennala yet, or you probably haven't talked to Blaidd in Siofra River as part of Ranni's questline, or cleared fort Gael.

For the festival? That leads down to the boss area? You just talk to the npc he'll start the festival again and the door will open up

I did him at around 75. I did every boss at 75 for the sake of not being over-leveled but he can be a rough time! Good luck! And he shouldn't be **too** rough as long as you have fun!

Just so you know, you can fast forward the video in just about any video editors. Viewers don't like having to manually fast forward through a long elevator ride or things like that.

All you have to do is do Ranni's questline to unlock the portal to Radahn when they tell you to go kill him to free the stars it should be unlocked after that.

You have to clear Fort Gael and take the teleporter on top of it after you clear the fort. Let me know if it works! A lot of people are having a similar issue with the teleporter not being active, while it is for others.

Look at the highlighted comment I posted it explains what you have to do if the portal is inactive, but basically you'll want to go to Fort Gael first.

@@unholy4530 The problem was that nothing was left in the land of fire. I killed all the bosses and duel 3 blood spirits and combed the entire area but the gate does not work

A lot of people seem to be running in to the issue with the teleporter, so I may make a fresh character and test what's causing the issue for some people to find a set and concrete solution on it.

you need to get two medalians that are found in two forts, one in limgrave, and one in caelid, then you have to use them to access the atlus plateu, after that then teleport back and the portal should work

You have to talk to the old lady in one of the roundtable hold rooms, it will allow you to buy his armor from her, and his weapon of choosing! If you look at my Radahn guide video I show where at the end of it!

I already left it down below, you have to do Ranni's questline. This guide was made in the first few days of the game's launch. So just like many other guides, of course some info may be missing as nothing was entirely certain at the time, all I did was put out what I did know to help those who were just as confused as I at the time.
