The blue pointing down the host and refusing to help him probably took one look at the Moonveil and said, "Oh hell nah, I'm not helping a Moonveil wizard" I wonder if the host realized they could've sent him home and gotten a different, less principled blue

Because that’s exactly what someone being invaded by Chase has the time and window to consider doing: sending a summon home in hopes a better one will arrive in time

A likely theory I think is that blue has been invading and got ganked by this host before. 3v1's against hosts that aren't progressing can be pretty painful if you're not Chase. So maybe as karma would have it he ended up being summoned as that hosts' blue...

I'm surprised, being that close and already transformed, he didn't try using it to do the expanding head attack. Maybe he knew Chase's I-frames meant he was screwed no matter what.

I think he was just a random phantom summoned who’s sign was next to the statue. He probably was AFK when he got summoned and got back to his controller just as Chase came in

I always turn the blue ring to help invaders mainly dying if they are 1v1 host (for flask) or attracting mobs sometimes i drop them goodies so they can have a easier time be it starlights, healing stones etc

I have blue ring on solely to take up a slot and give the invaders a fair shot against resummoning hosts. May add warming stones to my loadout too lmao.

I used to spawn in as a blue and just play the bubble trumpet while the host and invader fight.

If you go blue the probability you will be summon to gank or to hunt an weakened invader is like 80%. The only time a blue shows to fight a proper 2v2 is when. The host is using tt and that is rare

Honestly, the great katana has been my go to for my faith/str build ever since the DLC release, despiso many str/faith weapons being released. It's not only nice to use, but it's also got variety. It slaps on the lighting buff incantation AND it can be played with a blood flame blade build
