I applaud the fire golem for winning _four fights_ before Placi done it in. Niall, Theodorix, the white runebear and even Borealis all could've gotten the upper hand, Borealis sure did a number of times, yet that golem's rng was in its favor. You go golem dude, proud of ya

Fire Golem's AI seemed really bad at dealing with giant opponents. It couldn't accurately measure distances, leading to a lot of missed attacks.

@@tatinh9885 yeah I can definitely see it, especially with several of the "rock throw" attacks missing their mark either because the rocks overshot the target and missed entirely, or it got stuck on the opponent lol A few times the final sweep before the rocks were flung _did_ hit the target, though I wonder if that was a part of the halberd's hitbox or the rocks themselves. Either way it was definitely designed to fight the tarnished and other smaller targets a lot better than equal-size ones. Pretty much all four opponents it beat could have easily defeated it as well, they're all decently faster than it and have attacks that deal a hefty bit of damage. I'm just surprised that it did as well as it did, usually these guys get folded in these npc battles pretty easily

Yeah, and this is the right way to do tournaments too. Instead of dividing everyone into groups, a character can just keep fighting until they face someone stronger.

the first flying swoop of dragonlord placidusax is tied to the players positioning, so its always missing whenever phase transitions. other fight channels managed to fix it somehow, but moving closer to placis target is also an easy fix.

My first console was Pong. My dad got it in 75'. I've grown up with every subsequent iteration of consoles. When PS1 came it blew the doors off everything with shit I'd never even imagined. Like Tomb Raider, Tekken, FF7 among others. What From Soft has created with Elden Ring is absolutely refuckindiculous. The shear magnitude of this game, to me, demonstrates the utter definition of the pinnacle of console gaming evolution. I would spend a couple hours playing Pong, then go play outside. I spent MONTHS melting into the Lands Between, never wanting it to end. I've witnessed gaming evolution in real time. Elden Ring is an absolute Masterpiece! Oh yeah - AND THESE VS VIDEOS ARE FUCKING AWESOME! PEACE!

17:11 Fire Golem is 100% maximising effort to move faster, like a sloth, did everything it can to defeat the Fog, even attacking when fell over. First time that I was so desparate to tell a simulation object to get up, respect that plus that was the only quad kill combo!!! And it fought valiantly against the dragonlord🤠

I was expecting fire vs ice lol. This was a mix of physical, lightning, holy, death, fire, and ice. Lightning doing the most damage out of anything here. Did you set any moveset parameters or are they all just dropped in in base? Either way it was cool seeing the fire giant button mashing basically 😂
