It’s true. Goldens know when their time is, and they don’t want to worry their owners. We had golden puppy who died at only 10 months old. She tried so hard just to be happy. She was so sick and she only complained about it in the last 4 hours. I’m so sorry for your loss. They’re the best dogs and I hope they’re in a good place together.

My PINKU loved to travel from our home to our village in our car..everytime we got ready to travel he knew that that was not regular day like college or office days..like he had some sixth sense “today is the special day” feeling. Such a trip was on 9/9/2018 ..he was so happy on that trip..on 11/9/2018 my family returned to home.. I stayed..little did i knew that PINKU would fall sick..on 12/9/2018 for his deteriorating condition I also returned..PINKU died at 11:27 PM 😭 that day. The final memories are still fresh in my mind and I can't stop crying..

Even in old age, he was so cute... RIP buddy, no more pains no more sufferings. Sleep on 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I'm Scott in Seattle. Tears flowing. What a sweetheart of a dog! Please do not dwell on the death scenes. Celebrate their life, know they live on as long we remember them. I learned that the dog's purpose is to show us the way. This what they love to do. To remind us that love, play, a warm place to rest and a good bowl of food, is most of what we need. They give us reason to keep going when not much else will. Even in death a dog is showing us it's ok, live a good life, aging and passing, it's part of life. So it's important to them that you get another dog, so they know we will not loose our path. Your sweetheart dog will rest better in heaven knowing you are ok and you have a dog to help you through your next phase of life. IF we all had sweet dogs like this one there would never be a war, never be hate, never be alone. Every animal friend is a heartbreak eventually, but know this, it's still worth doing. I have been though this twice, I have two aging dogs now (Black English Labradors), I only have three years with them left best case. But it's OK, I have a brain tumor, and I probably won't be far behind them myself. So like I said, they show us the way. I want to be there for them when it's their time. SO when it's my time they can show me the way again.

That’s why u should enjoy and remember all the happy, memorable moments with your loved ones no matter what because they’re going to leave u someday

I want see you when you are gone. I want to feel you, your presence around me when I can't touch you. Please don't leave to suffer. I wish I could nurse you, hold you close but the vets wouldn't allow me to. God knows how willing my heart is.... but it is what it is. Our friendship has survived all odds and that's why I am sure God was in it and he brought us together for a reason. This video reminds me of my hamster, Biko. He just died last week. He had this tumor between his hind legs. I still remember how he waited for me to come back from work. When I got into my room, I greeted him in his cage and he was still breathing. Twenty minutes later I checked on him and he was gone. RIP Biko. I really wish pets have longer life.

I've grown up with dogs. Some cats, but mostly dogs. Such giving creatures. They give such unconditional love. Treated fairly, they are such a comfort. I've watched this video a number of times and I'm not sure why. It tears my heart, but at the same time causes me to remember the dogs I've had in the past. I remember them and thank them.

I know it's to soon to say but I dont know where I would be today or who I would be. I truly believe God put him in my path at a dark moment in my life he is my angel. So I feel for the owner of the dog of this video when I say your dog didn't die he just went home to the rest of the angels. God bless.

Oh this is so touching and dogs are the purest thing on this earth, I swear. I think the saddest thing about forming a bond with a dog is the fact that they can not live for as long as humans do. We know that they will most likely leave the earth before we do, and we'll have to deal with it. Love your pets, take pictures and videos of them. We do not know when they will have to leave. Dogs really are, a mans best friend.

I know how it feels to lose a pet without saying your final goodbye. I went to school one morning and when I came back my father had told me that my dog had been hit by a car and had to be put down. I was devastated and I still am. This happened 4 years ago

i am 27 years old i had 5 dogs generation one after other , died in the time span of 27 years , i have seen 4 deaths of my pets. We should never forget that dogs live average for 12 years so please do get another pet if u love them. This is the biggest offering for their Soul. And wishing for a dog to live for more than 15 is a personal greed coz they myt live beyond 15 but become so fragile ,so death is better for the peace of our loved once. 🙏🏻

I am such a crybaby! This story is a real tearjerker...and Puddin’s owner wrote a beautiful and loving letter. Puddin somehow knew that the walk they went on together would be their last one on this side of heaven... I see too many people who are impatient with their dogs during the walk...if your dog wants to spend a minute or two sniffing a particular bush, tree or lawn, one should let them! How I hate seeing people jerking on their dog’s leash, the action driving the collar into the throat! I smile at the patient people who let the dog explore and sniff to their heart’s content!

I couldn't help myself, I cried.❤ I have tried something similar to this. My dog Bella she was 10 years old and oneday we started noticing that there where something wrong. We took her to a vet and found out she had a bad heart and had water in her lungs. after some time i let the dogs out in the back yard and when my other dog smilla came in Bella didn't come. I called on her but nothing, so i ran out to see where she was and found out she was laying near some crops we had. She could't move. I called my dad and he took her in. Then after 3-4 min. She was gone. In my moms arms.. it's hard to lose someone that had been with you for a long time. ❤ I will always remember my sweet Bella. She was everything!.

I'm crying because my yellow labrador died from cancer at the age of 11 yo on July 19, 2017. This video reminded me of the day she died when I saw the beautiful old golden retriever in the box.

I am wrecked for the rest of the night. I have lost 6 goldens since 1995. My last two within 6 months sept 2019, and March 2020. 12, 8, 12, 10, 10 1/2 and 11. Five left me due to cancer, one left me to to epilepsy. None made it past 12 years, but as painful as it is, 10-12 Is the life expectancy of a golden retriever, in my humble opinion the most majestic and faithful creature to walk the earth. They deserve so much better than this. Unfortunately, I am too old to get another puppy. I'm disabled and I simply can't do them justice. I am attempting to get a service dog from the Veterans Administration. I don't think I need to tell you what breed up when I asked for. Every golden I've lost has taken a piece of my heart with them. Thankfully, I know they all will return it back to me when they meet me at the Bridge.... You, too, will meet Puddin' at the bridge when the time comes.

Dogs are the best. Simple but true. They are loyal creatures and all it takes is a little bit to earn their trust. You love them, they love you. When you bond with a dog, you have a faithfull companion who will not leave your side unless they are not able to stay there. Each and every dog is unique but if you treat it with respect, dignity, love, tenderness, and most of all loyalty. You will get the same and probably more in return. We don't deserve dogs.

Why did this have to come up in my feed today... My wife decided this afternoon it's time for our dog to have "that" visit to the vet on Friday (6-1-2018). I know it's time. He hasn't been able to walk for a year. He hasn't been able to drag himself to his water and food for three months. He is totally dependent on us to carry him. I'm sitting here looking at him right now. So peaceful. I miss him already and he's not even gone yet. I love you Nigel...

the saddest thing that will happen to every dog owners out there, like me is that when you are somewhere like if you’re in school, work, etc is that when you arrive home you find your pet dead and regretting that you weren’t for him/her when it was still alive not seeing you in their final moment

So sad, such a beautiful dog. I lost my dog to cancer in 2016 and whenever I watch 1 of these types of videos, I always get too upset. I tell myself to not watch but I can't help it. I don't think I'll ever get over losing my best friend. I had to stop this vid half way through. Too emotional. I wish dogs lived longer like birds, monkeys and loads of other animals that live past 20,30 even up to 70 years or more. Rip beautiful doggy. You will be missed dearly. And your mummy will have you in her heart forever. XxxxX

I don't even know why tears are coming out of my eyes... My son, my yellow Labrador, "Kuttush", means everything to me... Can't even bear the thought of loosing him... Guess they just change who you are... They just give you so much love and teach you how to love back... They teach you compassion, they teach you how to really "live"...
