Mike Seary where are the uncharted paths? I don’t recall these or where they are.

andizzle195 Uncharted Paths are color coded in Yellow, Sea Lanes are color coded in Gray/White, and Train Tracks are color coded in Red.

I also noticed the illegal move. I find mistakes good in these vids. Means we are picking up whats correct.

yup, it's a change in EH. for ever clue you sacrifice, you can re-roll one die :)

at the beginning for the gate that spawned in Tokyo. Gates that are spawned at setup also have a monster placed.

***** I just checked, and I did spawn a creature when the Tokyo gate came out, but it was the serpent people so they subsequently moved to the Amazon, leaving Tokyo undefended :)

***** Sorry man, I should clarify. H.P. Lovecraft was heavily influenced by the writings of Robert W. Chambers. Specifically the book by chambers called "The King in Yellow". Lost Carcosa feature's prominently in that book. In particular, the idea of a book which drives you insane if you read it (like the Necronomicon) was stolen from Chambers. The Yellow Sign will drive you crazy if you see it. Also, if you have seen the first season of the HBO series, "True Detective", Carcosa features in that too.

Richard clearly said that normally you have to use a clue to re-roll a die... and then he said that his character allows him to spend 1 sanity instead of 1 Clue... so that's what he did... is that wrong? if so, can you please link me to the part of the rules that says this is wrong? Thanks

I took "in place of spending" to mean you needed to have the clue with you in the first place, that you could have spent. Not being able to effectively create clues out of thin air by spending sanity. Seems like I was wrong, as per this thread: community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/106130-norman-withers-passive-ability/. Sorry.

It doesn't count as an action because it isn't an action, it's not labeled Action on the sheet... it's the character special power that can be used once per turn

No, its not. None of the Great Old Ones have a gender as we understand them. Shub-Niggurath is sometimes incorrectly referred to as "she" because it's sometimes worshiped as a fertility deity.
