The Communist Party Marxist, one of the three parties that petitioned the Supreme Court against electoral bonds, may, once all the details are out, move the top court to take action on grounds of perjury against SBI. The party’s Gen Secy Sitaram Yechury said this would be in response to his claim the SBI deliberately mislead and, in fact, lied to the Court about its ability to make available all the required details of the electoral bond scheme as ordered by the court on 15th February.

What principled stand , do you have any idea of the level of corruption nepotism and loot that their ruling dispensation is engaged in the only state where they rule. A private mining company has been paying the chief ministers daughter as per records produced before Income Taxes Interim Settlement board monthly payments running into lakhs for several years for providing tally software and Microsoft package in a mining company. All their public contracts are awarded to same company which is a cooperative run by party stooges who in turn sub contract it and through all these the idiots who have not even won a panchayat election in life are the helm of the party affairs in their politburo

Though I am apolitical, I like CPM for their way they run their internal affairs. Even I know personally few people of CPM in my village and they never demand for any monetary helps unlike other political parties. Unfortunately, CPM did not change the way they handle things like others for their survival. For CPM, they still believe that Politics is service to the society unlike other. For them, politics is business, Power etc etc.

It is unfortunate because politics is about making money through land, construction, and mining mafias; and through direct relations with corporations; which in turn helps one in running positive media campaigns and buying voters. That is the truth of politics in India and amidst all these loud, bombastic campaigns, parties like the CPM which depend on internal party member levys to run their activities simply lose out because the entrenched powers will never back them because they can't buy them.

Excellent. Publicly held companies especially the nations first bank must display transparency and trustworthiness. In addition to evident perjury, obstruction of justice and contempt of court, sbi must also be subjected to forensic audit of electoral bonds funds

Poonam Agarwal has informed that she had forgotten the third bond purchased by her. Hence she deleted the tweet. But she made it public that the bond contained a Unique Alpha Numeric number allotted to each KYC holder who purchased bond. This was an important service to the nation.

This is a thought from a patriotic common citizen of this country.The whole thing about electoral bond intent is skewed. It's more of bribe, kickback given in the name of electoral bonds. Funding to party should be in two pathway. Electoral bonds should be active only during the election and a time period to buy the bonds. This amount should be disclosed and a complete account given to EC ( which is sadly now partisan) . The other pathway will be donation to partys where strict guidelines to be put. There should be a upper limit. Secondly shell companies and companies under ED scanner should not donate. Sadly the present intent is skewed. Therefore the ruling party is surely at an advantage and hence wanting all the money they topple state govt also.

Karan, to your question around 24:45, that's what the demonetization was for. The person knew the person was going to do it, so inform cronies a few days earlier to get rid of the Rs 1000 notes to the banks ahead of demonetization day. time, and then when the work was done, then bring in the demonetization!! That is exactly why Urjit was brought in from the Reliance board and Rajan thrown out because Rajan would not buckle!! Of course, once Urjit was able to get his signature on the new notes, and a moderate time elapsed, then he conveniently quits/leaves, etc!! Simple.
