It's filmed in germany. It's actually like 20 minutes away from where i live. And i haven't ever heard of that castle before. There are like 5 other castles inbetween, we really have those all over the place.

Cascada's version is also a cover. Well... More of a sample really. They took the chorus from an earlier song. Original came out in 1992 by Maggie Reilly. I enjoy the original, and the Cascada version, but this one is so awesome in it's silliness and well arranged.

I wanted to say the same. Evrywgere where this song is they say about Cascada wbich is not true :) to the authir of the Channel, listem to it maybe you also like it. The composer of the song is Mike Oldfield famous some time ago. Have a nice Day and Best Regards :)

1. This makes me REALLY remember how young you are AND how much you feel music and truly care about it. I got A LITTLE upset in the beginning when you were mad. I LOVE when someone covers something i know well and even love because its usually that artist paying homage to the original. 2. A band as talented as Electric Callboy is not gonna take something that iconic and chit on it. EVERYONE IN EUROPE loves that song and Callboy isn't gonna piss off all of Europe. 3. The version you love so much....is a cover. Cascada sampled a song from the late 80s or early 90s. I can't remember the artist but i remember my mom playing it all the time when I was little tike.

Not really mad haha I had like 200 people watching while I was recording . and they all kinda teased me , as I was saying that the title remembers me of one of my favorite song . so when I actually heard that in fact it was a cover . I was more ,, mad ,, haha at them for the tease .

@@BisscuteReacts fair enough. I guess that makes sense. It was more my brain saying "heeyyyy be open minded they KILLED it." I also just found out that Cascada was a German group. So is callboy. I was a roadie on tour they hopped on for a few weeks back in the day and they were THE COOLEST DUDES EVER🤘 So again... wasn't mad just kinda surprised. But again I KNOW how emotional you get about music and I think it's the most awesome thing ever!

Hey Biss, I guess this hits hard! EC made a great job of their cover, nobody does things like they do. Great to know you enjoyed it, nice reaction as always! 💖 Now….. c’mon it’s about time we were treated to another spin of The Warning! Over 6months in fact - they’ve just released a new single “More” it’s had over 1 million plays on Spotify and 1 million views on YT in just less than a month, good way to go with for an up to date reaction! Oh and they’ve just finished off (today) a world tour with Muse taking in UK, France, Netherlands, Germany, Spain then back to the UK for the last 3 gigs.

JFYI: the location is indeed in Germany and it's called "Schloss Rothestein" located in the federal state of Hessen. It's a popular wedding and event location nowdays. Just beautiful!

the Location is called "Schloss/Castle Rothestein", its pretty mcuh in the very centre of germany, closed larger city would be "Kassel". Rothestein translates to redish Stone, n refers to the hill the Castle is build on, which consist of red sandstone. btw: cascadas version is also a cover, the original is from 1992 and by the scottish artist Maggie Reilly.

I had to laugh when you said you hoped it wasn't a cover, then I had to laugh again when you said you loved the original by Cascada. It was originally written by Maggie Reilly for her album Echoes in 1992, and covered by Cascada in 2007. Yes, I know I'm old. lol Loved the reaction though, and I knew you wouldn't be disappointed. 🤘

This was filmed in Germany at Schloß Rothestein (Rothestein castle) which is in my area. A beautiful castle that is quite new, only 130 years old.

It's the perfect size where it's a castle you can actually imagine living in. Most castles are just too big and difficult to maintain.

@@RolandDeschain1 yeah but this is also not easy to maintain even it is a quite small castle. the new owners put a lot of effort and work in it to make it look great again. Now you can use it for events, weddings and more.

@@MetalGoat84 Yeah, many of these European castles are converted into hotels. Which makes sense. And they're not that expensive to buy. At least, not when compared to an apartment in NYC. You can get a very nice castle in Europe for a couple million Euro.

@@RolandDeschain1 you´re absolutely right. But to maintain it will cost a lot of money. In Germany there is an institution for monument protection and when buildings have a certain age they have an eye on it that it is kept in the original shape. Also restorations have to be done the old way and sometimes with old techniques, materials etc. So owning is one side but keeping and maintaining the other side.

I'm am 80s/90s baby and even tho I haven't heard the true original from Maggie Reilly, I've heard Cascada's version plenty of times. In all honesty, I much prefer EC version over Cascada. There's so much love and punch to it. Plus Nico's voice is just intoxicating.

@@MarkyMark8484 As I finished my Masters in 1984 (your year of birth?) I spent a lot of time using card indexes in the university library so doing what she was doing really got to me. BTW I use an electronic form of index card to keep my reading and other records. So index cards hold an important place in my life.

@@MarkyMark8484 My university library as it was a medieval library didn't use the Dewey Decimal System (none of that modern new fangled stuff!) Cataloguing systems aren't dependent on index cards I have to say my local German library I do internet searches for books and haven't paid attention to the cataloguing system or the arrangement on the shelves. I don't think they use the Dewey system.

Well, that is not really true - or maybe it is better to say "only half true"... Cascada only used the refrain from Maggie Reilly, but the rest of the lyrics etc. in their version was "their own"... Listen to Maggies awsome song and then to Cascada und you will hear the total difference in lyrics and music beside the refrain^^
