Wild men having a ball on stage and making beautiful music! In all the free for all they didn't miss a beat. Watch them all very closely so you don't miss a thing. Hilarious but kick ass performance. Rock and roll and wrestle at it's very best. This has to be the very best video ever filmed. Amazing! Love all the men doing this. YOU ROCKED IT!!

I saw them at Newcastle City Hall on the same tour. when they did this song they went mental - but it got a bit silly - one of the cello players' bows flew out of his hand and went among us youngsters down the front going mental with them - he was looking over the side of the stage trying to find it - then Jeff broke a bloody guitar string! - great gig.

I saw them in 76 at the Memorial Coliseum in Portland warm up for Deep Purple! Never heard of them before! Stole the show with this song!

Saw them in the summer of 1976 where they headlined at the Freedom Festival in Cleveland, OH. Acts included Heart, J. Geils, Todd Rundgren and ELO. Best concert I've ever seen hands down. This was the song that they ended with and departed in a hot air balloon. Tickets were $8

I never will get tired of watching this video. If anybody knows anybody who could top this performance, ya better tell them they need to step up. I dont believe anybody will ever outdo this show. All the Tay tays and Lady Gagas and Beyonces and J Los of this world, yall just might as well hang it up. You'll never be anywhere near this good.

I have seen 20 different videos and heard lots of different taped versions of this song. This one beats them all. Everyone on that stage was rocking their asses off. The music quality didn't suffer because of the live performance either. Great job!

I don't know of many songs that are as gratuitously rock and roll as this song. It's like they took the essence of rock and roll, ground it up into a fine powder, sniffed a bit, then added liberal helpings of win to the rest and moulded this song. Even the studio version from CD is like this.

I saw them live around this same time in Charleston, WV. The BEST concert I ever went to. Period. They finished w an encore and this is what they did. No one wanted to leave when it was over.

This song changed my life! I was a 15 year old kid tasked with watching my younger sister while my parents were out. I turned on that weeks episode of Don Kirschner’s Rock concert and was blown away by this group’s performance of a classic rock and roll song. Thank you ELO !!!!!!!!!!!

I feel that it is important for any band to be good. But, to be 'insanely'-good, maybe should be recognized differently. ELO is setting the mark here. And I feel that 'that mark' has stood for over four decades . . . and is still going strong.

I saw them in 1976 In Portland Oregon warm up for Deep Purple's women from Tokyo tour. They literally blew Deep Purple off the stage!

@@unrulyjulie4382 I would have to say this tour face the music, they came to Detroit for a 2nd time in summer of 1976 with face the music album, (first time I was overseas in usmc and missed it) they played at pine knob a out door arena near Detroit mi. just before release of new world record ..they played do ya.. I was hone on leave and was jumping for joy when I found out they would visit again!! with face the music....then saw them again in mid 1977 with new world record tour they had 2 sold out shows at cobo,arena ( detroit mi ) close 2nd in favorite elo concert .. they came to Detroit..many times

Did anyone notice Jeff bump Kelly off him at 4:38? :-) Anyway this video is great especially seeing Bev and Richard pissing themselves after Melvyn grabs Kelly's leg and drags him across the stage at 4:43, probably the best version of this song I've heard (live at Wembley 78 comes a very close second)
