I remember that day, i had asked the day prior what this kind of music was, some chick responded with "weed metal", and she wasent wrong. I absolutely loved that concert, such a powerful and amazing performance by this band, and ive listened to them ever since.

Thats the german usually thought to be nazi not symbol but cross, id say its the teutonic order cross, a medieval 'Christian' order in today northwestern poland which used to be prussia, anyway, the teutons were such a order that was taskes to purge non Christian east and the baltics

While it was used by nazis in the 40s it has since then been taken over by biker and rocker culture (Lemmy wore it a lot) as a sign of rebellion. Given that the wiz is very inspired by vintage horror and biker films, I think that's why they wear it.

dunno honestly. EW have flirted with nazi imagery a lot, particularly since the late 2000s, and while i would normally just say it was being edgy for edginess's sake, they did sign onto a record label known for putting out metal made by nazis for nazis, so who knows. i hope to god its just jus being edgy and immature but fuck knows. i'd rather metal and punk ditch the nazi iconography
