K E K NO, it is not. You have to be mentally VERY focused on playing anything; guitar, drums.. Drums especially, since if he misses a beat, you hear it right away(except you're that kind of people who come to concert but don't actually hear a tone or notice bad sound, they come cause it's cool music - I've met those), and if drummer slows down or speed up even for 0,01 sec, you also hear that right away - and the rest of the band(instruments) has to follow him. *Remember some bands who speed up live, and discography version is way slower* . *That's* why it's a skill to be this good at playing while baked.

I've watched this a few hundred times. It's one of my favorite live jams. I've determined that the inconsistencies in timing & tempo - to my great surprise - wasn't so much the drummer (who clearly spent the whole set being tickled by unicorns on an exo-planet somewhere) but the guitars rushing at parts. I'm not knocking any of it, their sound kicks ass and I wanna be that drummer just once in my life

Same goes for a lot of drugs... Amphetamines and other stims don't make you a better song writer it just makes you write more... Heroin doesn't make your music deeper it just usually comes alongside a really awful time in your life giving you an ability to emote musically you otherwise wouldn't be able to do sober... Marijuana and psychedelics though, like you said, make collaborating and "feeling the synergy around you" so much more intuitive. It's amazing how much better I can improv and stay in time and almost psychically read my band mates next move when high lol...

They are my two all time favorite SG’s 1st and 2nd respectively!!! I am, admittedly, new to the "Wizard" ...... an old school thrash fan with roots in Sabbath, Maiden, Kiss, etc. Seems that the daughter of an opera singer provides a different vibe when compared to pre "Liz" Wizard. I welcome all comments in terms of whether my intuitions are correct. Seems that her addition to Jus has alienated many early Wizard followers?
@rebeccabailey5272 жыл бұрын
Or it could any alienation could just be from a lot of men who still believe metal is a hyper masculine form of music, and a woman with a guitar is a threat. The same sort of thing happened to Angela gossow nearly 20 years ago, when she joined arch enemy. She was far better than their old singer johan liiva, but for years in every comment section of every arch enemy video, it was just filled with loads of very disgusting and hateful comments, and it all came down to she was a woman.
