This is a very well thought out trike. It places you at the height of traffic and upright riding position for good visibility. Designed for shopping and doing away with the car in city living and suburban living. As to a comment about it being too slow. That is not it's purpose. As to being geriatric, it's a bike designed for picking up your shopping not for riding with your mates in lycra. Too nerdy? I think car owners are nerdy with their attitude, but each to their own. Great video, great trike.

Ideal for an older person who may have balance problems and some arthritis and who cannot afford to crash and burn (like break more brittle bones).

Very interresting introduction video. I`d like to buy the trike in Germany! Conzept is great, coz trikes r always to high in seat, so there is a danger in driving bend. A deeper u seat, as more sure u r on the street! Thatswhy i think the conzept "longer & deeper" ist great. My opinian is: 22" fat tires front, 2x 20" fat tires in back. The Standard-Trike-Design means to be powerfull in sitting position. When there`s electric power, the design should be comfortable, like this pedego trike. Regards from Stuttgart/Germany

I love this but would want my trike to go at least 19 miles per hour. My husband and I race our electric trikes on the bike trail and while 11 miles an hour is OK I think that is too sleepy of a speed. I would love if you could govern the max speed up and down. We have been riding trikes for years now and if it wasn't for the slowness this would be a contender for our next trike!!! Nice job. Very nice looking!

Basically a VERY good idea. It has some nice features such as the quite sizable "trunk". However, way too expensive and more than a little too slow.

These bikes are great. But for most seniors the price is prohibitive and health insurance will not help pay. I would love to have one instead of the hit and miss of a scooter at the Walmart or other stores. Large front basket would make it perfect.

I like the idea where you keep the battery in and locked up and then you can plug it in the charger but what they said that is they should have took in a cord that can stretch out of the battery and you can plug it up into any outlet but has to be a long extension cord connect to the battery and then when you pull it you hold onto it so goes right back in nicely in here turn the circle rail to lock it in place to keep water from getting into the plug 2 can this fit inside of apartment door is what make sure + 3 stop plastic curing rack on the back can you carry like maybe 1 or 2 recyclable bags of cans to help out the environment to make a little extra money I was just wondering and three thank you for wearing a bike helmet and tell people wear bike helmet to be safe not to be sorry and yes bike helmets to save lives I seen it happen sometimes they don't always say sliced but it's best to wear a helmet in anyway and I wish you people would get with the government and tell people we're going to make a new law that you have to wear a bike helmet or skateboard helmet or rollerblades helmets all the time Ross it's your ticket for not having one on all countries and all states phone until the meantime I wish this was the neon yellow by do you like this color but I wish it was a neon yellow or the train wreck on the back I wish it was a neon yellow to blend in with this color of three wheel bike one more thing I want to have all those places to put your phones or tablets on cuz I got phone case. My only complaint will be the sit. That's actually the problem I have with the bicycles, they have this very uncomfortable sit that hurts in a long ride. A little wider sit would be perfect! I'm over 60 :)

A nice trike but a little pricey for senior citizens on a fixed income. Not worth more than $1,500-$1,800, $3,000 is too high. There are plenty of older people who would buy this bike if the price were reasonable. In the long run they will make more money if they brought the price down to just under $2,000 at least. Why do they have to charge so much? Forces older people to settle with a motorized wheel chair for $400-$500.

Why aren’t there any locking cargo boxes. Being and RVer. On my regular bike I’ve gone shopping my helmet has been stolen while I’m in the store.. If I stop and several stores etc... and leave a bag in the cargo box I’d like it secure..

I think you could have a flip cover for the display and the box should have a cover in case of rain so your things don't get wet and damaged.

Small detail. I can see in the video that trike has an old fashioned "pillar" seat post - with the clamp built into the seat instead of the end of the post. Like an old Schwinn - or some modern electric scooters. I don't think you will find a suspension seat post that fits that seat. If you find a suspension seat post with the right diameter, I think you'll need a new seat too.

Maximum of 11mph lol. I've done 45mph downhill before now on an ICE recumbent trike and that was awesome.

Great video! I just purchased a custom work trike that I'm having a hard time being able to balance it, which I wasn't expecting. It's outfitted with a cabinet between the two back wheels--which appear to be of similar width as yours. For a beginner, what would you recommend? That plastic basket adds unnecessary weight/noise. A ballistic nylon cargo container w/ mesh, zippered closures and rain guard would be great for carrying children/pets.
