People, be grateful to God that you're still alive! It could be worse. We have been praying for Jamaica and giving thanks that only a couple of lives lost & you're there in St Elizabeth dissing the PM as if he was responsible for the hurricane! Material things can be replaced. For God's sake, learn how to be grateful and stop complaining about the gentleman. POLITICS! POLITICS! POLITICS! MY GOD!😮🥺

They all want the Prime Minister to give them a brand new big house 🏠 and bring truck 🚛 loads of food and clothes to each and everyone of them. Things would be great then. Put down your money for rainy day! Like this one. Government to give you this and that. You better bounce yourselves back. Or else you fart.

It's terrible Jamaican government is treating Haiti people as such 🤔 how quickly they forget . The lawyer is right, and she should get support from the people in this endeavor. On another note , why isn't the government supporting a solar program in the needed area throughout the country. Why isn't there a tech program that teaches or incorporates clean energy skills that young people can adapt in their communities to benefit them in times such as this.🤔 imagine meet farms without generator🤔

More people, especially those who can afford to should think about solar energy. Jamaica is located in an active hurricane zone, this was not and will not be the last a hurricane will destroy electricity wires and poles and disrupt services to customers. Hurricanes will be getting more powerful and frequent, in addition to building your homes to withstand these storms people should also invest in solar energy, have water tanks and even get satellite internet. Outfit your homes so that you can live comfortable off the grid.

You know, I'm one of the biggest critic of this PM and his government but I agree with you here. However, I must add, the government needs to have better disaster management and preparation in place. Its obvious JPS and even the NWC can't be the only power and water companies on the island. They can't service the growing number of households that rely on them nor respond to crisis and upgrade their infrastructure. Either the government give license to other utility companies or it does some kind of subsidies to get more people move to solar energy... or at least outfit hospitals, schools and government buildings with solar energy.

How you mean the PM has no control I can't agree with you a 100% because he is the one who granted jps with a licence and contract while he can't make the electricity power available right away to everyone but he can apply pressure to the light and power company to move much faster I bet if it was a election and he needed vote he would come out with a more demanding attitude towards the situation

The lawyer at 13:30 gave the best speech. But with a prime minister who flew to show support for another prime minister accused of genocide, we understand why he sent the Haitians back.

They know that there will be an Hurricane 🌀. The Department of PARKS and RECREATION should be out TRIMMING TREES 🌳 and SECURE the Light Wires. The Prime Minister knows the Hurricane Season, why Not DEPLOY this Department to TRIM TREES. The JPS is a DISGRACE. They should DEPLOYED WORKERS to CLEAR BRANCHES AWAY from the Electric Wires !!!
