Great stuff, I wouldn't leave that room for days! Agreed on the Moog delay too, I left mine alone for a while as it didn't do too much on drums so I was kind of dissapointed. Then I bought a Mother 32 and put that through it, very nice!!

Anybody know what brand keyboard stands those are. They seem quite common in Europe. In the US all we have similar is Onstage. They are very simple A-frame without any options to custom build out to need.

checkout THOMANN (musical shop webstore) but check out EU version of it THOMANN.DE there you should see many variations of stands and see if they are available in US, also REVERB.COM should have stand for your preferences, good luck.

One of the best interviews out of all the ones on the channel, that is my personal opinion of course. Great studio and ways of thinking. Really that Matrix 1000 is also one of my favorite synths :) The white one is kind of rare I think, but not really made by Oberheim, I think it was something like Gibson or??? Syncussion + 1000. Good to see a female artist that really knows her s**t. Would like to get a crash course by her on that sequentix

why a multi-clock when you are driving it all with a Cirklon? You must be using other sequencers. Or daw sync?

You can‘t drive all that gear via the Cirklon. And of course you wanna sync your DAW too, at least for Audio and use internal sequencers of drum machines etc.

Sequentix 1000 times better. Octatrack is limited as a MIDI sequencer.

What can the Cirklon do with MIDI that the Octatrack can't? Besides the extra midi tracks

The Cirklon runs circles around the Octatrack MIDI sequencer, which doesn't even have the conditional triggers the newer Elektron gear has in its sequencers. Check out the aux functions in the Cirklon manual - basically custom MIDI effects that allow you to modulate CCs, NPRN, notes, timing, and pretty much any MIDI message - SYSEX support is planned. Instrument definitions, CV control (with a break out box), more than 64 steps, MTC support, and more. I'm a huge Elektron fan, but the Cirklon is in another league.

maybe I am wrong, but I am not satisfied with Octartack as a MIDI sequencer. I manupolate with Length and different parameters - no effect. Octatrack is a great device and i will keep it for sampling, for voice sampling and live insteuments sampling, but not for MIDI sequencing at all.

she mentions a multi clock, but doesn't name which kind. anyone know what sync box is being used to share clock to the rig upstream from the sequencer?

Not sure, unless I missed it in the video. I have a Cirkon, which I sync to my DAW (usually Ableton) using an Expert Sleepers USMAO. It has a MIDI plugin that converts audio out from my interface to a MIDI clock signal and transport. So Ableton audio to USMAO, and USMAO MIDI to Cirkon. I think it will also pass other MIDI info (notes, CC, etc), but I don't use it for that. When using the Cirklon, I mostly use Ableton as a glorified multitrack, and just control the transport and clock from the DAW. Works great - much better than any other method I've tried. Can even overdub with everything in sync.

thanks for your reply. sync is everything. I'm not using a computer, but capturing hardware using the MPCX. the X drives an engine sequencer which in turn drives additional CV and DIN devices. always looking for ways to keep things tight. the cirklon looks very appealing.
