Just curious about the limitations of this unit, or this technology in general. You mentioned in the video that your crude material blend was vized at various grain sizes, down to 500u. My question is, what is the bottom limmit the sorting ability, 500u, or can you go lower to the 100u or sub 100u range?

Wouldnt melting them together with a screen that holds back the copper or perhaps it would float?

Gravity or centrifugal separation works fine for gold (unless it is mixed with tungsten (which does happen)).

I have actually invented and built an aluminum magnet, but it's for light duty only and virtually unscalable. It would handle this particular job with ease, however.
