Amazing encounters with elephant seals and gentoo penguins! Getting up close and personal on East Falkland island off the coast of Argentina. We visited after being lucky to catch a flight from Punta Arenas, Chile and stayed in the area for a whole week. This was just the results of one day. Whale point is known for elephant seals but also has a colony of Gentoo penguins living nearby. We also stopped off at a shipwreck for a picnic lunch.
