Hey this was filmed primarily using my GoPro Hero 10 action camera. I find this camera to be a small form factor, long battery life, and superb stabilization. I use it on most of my trips. Some aspects(particularly those requiring zoom or low light conditions) were from my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphone.

@@RonnieBunshaft Thanks for the quick reply, awesome, I did think it might be a GoPro! I’m currently looking for a walking style camera to go alongside my A7iii for more static shots, to use on my upcoming trip to Switzerland. I’m definitely leaning towards a GoPro now! watched your Mt Pilatus video the other day, also excellent, that view you got on the stairs looking down towards Lucerne was Epic! currently debating Mt Pilatus vs Stanserhorn at the moment :)

Hi Ronnie - Such a great video and now I'm DEFINITELY going under the water in AA, I'm just trying to decide between snorkel and scuba. Do you scuba? If so, what made you choose snorkeling? Did you interact with others who did scuba in AA? Just curious what your conversations might have been like and just how much difference it might have been, considering it seems most of the wildlife (esp penguins) and the ice, you could see from the surface snorkeling. Thanks in advance, Phil
@RonnieBunshaft
@RonnieBunshaft 2 ай бұрын
I have an advanced open water scuba cert but I learned that's no where near enough to scuba in AA. You need multiple other specialty certs and lots of recent similar experience. Almost felt like you need to be a professional scuba diver. Our guides also did scuba but not on this trip. I didn't talk to them much about it but I did get the impression most wildlife is on the surface. I'm sure there's something to see down there but I didn't feel like I was missing out.

Yeah you need dry suit certification AND 30 logged dry suit dives in cold water plus your own dry suit and all equipment. In total it will run around $10k so obviously it's a huge decision. I'm mainly interested in penguins and Icebergs and it seems you got those snorkeling. Thanks !

Awesome video, sir! I have some questions about the trip, if you could provide me some information : 1. Did you buy a return trip from Kriens to Pilatus Kulm (by using the gondolas to go from Kriens to Pilatus Kulm and from Pilatus Kulm back to Kriens)? 2. Can we buy tickets with cash directly from the Kriens ticket office (no prebooking needed)? 3. Can you spend time on different stations before reaching Pilatus Kulm and also during the descent back to Kriens? 4. How much would the trip last? What would be an appropiate hour to arrive at Kriens? I hope you will see my message as me and my friends would really love to try the trip!^^ Have a great day!

Hi there! It's been a while since I was there so you should definitely check out the FAQs on the website to confirm but I can give you what I think are the answers at least. I did buy a return trip and I believe you can stop part way and check out the mid stations before continuing on. I was able to buy my ticket at the office but if you're going at a peak time you should probably pre book. I used a credit card. And up to you on the timing. I think it's roughly 45 mins each way up and down and you'd take a few hours on the mountain.

I didn't need any extra tickets myself and was able to just get off and check out the midway. But I can't speak for any changed policies so I'd suggested checking the website FAQs confirming when you get there.

Great video Ronnie. Thanks for taking the time to do it. Both you and Eve showed lots of patience. What I will make sure to do when pressurizing the system is to take some soapy water and put it around each fitting, one at a time. If there are any leaks you will be able to see the soapy water bubble, like when you are fixing a flat tire on a bike or car and trying locate where the holes are that are causing the leak. I wouldn't have thought to do that without this video. Thanks again.

Nice review would like to see others. I liked cloud9, prospector, temptation, jonesy’s to flatiron, silver queen, seldom seen, claim jumper, copperhead, pipe dream, boogeyman, chicane, snowdancer, cascade and docs run. This was my third time ever skiing and we had a blast. I recommend not skipping leg days and expect to know how to ski well to enjoy what this resort has to offer more safely. Run traffic can get annoying at choke points making those areas more dangerous.

too long form me, is that Lian Li O11D XL works directly with argb fun or need hub?
@RonnieBunshaft
@RonnieBunshaft 5 ай бұрын
I think you're asking if I needed a fan hub with this build. The answer to that is yes, because the motherboard does not have enough connections on its own. The case has to do more with how many fans can actually physically fit in there, not with how to plug them in.
@michal5869
@michal5869 5 ай бұрын
@@RonnieBunshaft Thank you for the quick response; I'm asking about something else. I can easily get power to the fans from the motherboard, but when it comes to controlling the RGB LEDs, my motherboard doesn't have ARGB support. Currently, I only have ARGB fans, so I'm wondering if the controller that comes with the case (attached at the bottom) will directly control the ARGB LEDs of my fans, or if I need to buy a separate controller/hub for this.
@RonnieBunshaft

is there enough room to run this setup (front mounted distro plate) with a side mounted radiator? trying to figure out if i can do this as i prefer to use the non-xl case (cause i don't want my pc to weigh 985748923 lbs lol) i'm having trouble finding any builds where people are running top and side rads with a front mounted plate and vertical gpu. it seems vert gpu with top/bottom rad setup is "doable" but there is like almost no space under the gpu even with a slim rad in the o11 d evo, whereas the xl has plenty of clearance. i don't see why i couldn't run side mounted rad like i want, even if that means mounting the rad on the back side of the side mount so it sits inside the 2nd chamber of the case and just run my tubes at the bottom straight through under the fans
@RonnieBunshaft
@RonnieBunshaft 6 ай бұрын
If I'm understanding correctly I think the answer is no there is not enough room to do this build with a side mounted rad. I have the fans already on the back side of the side mount. So you could probably fit a rad there but not with another layer of fans on it. This distro plate expands backward too far to get anything onto the front of the side mount. It's close but it overlaps enough that you can't do it properly.

Their stated policy is gopro is okay, they have helmet mounts, but selfie sticks aren't. That being said I did bring one anyway. The group was small and strong, I went last so I wasn't delaying anyone, and I promised that if I lose it I wouldn't blame them. I did ask first. I think it depends on the guide. That being said it wasn't easy, I had the wriststrap permanently looped through a backpack strap so my hands were free. And when I wasn't using it I tucked it into one of the water bottle holder spots on the outside of my pack.
