I don’t believe what I’m seeing right now. I purchased a Xone K2 in November to use as a dj controller with Traktor. I have made two custom setting for two decks and a minimalist 3 decks. It works insanely especially for the price, I don’t use crossfader or jog wheels so for me to buy a “regular” dj controller wasn’t that appealing and this makes everything impressive and innovative in my opinion. If you like to mix from techno to house this can be a really good choice. I’m glad that through this video more people can enjoy it for dj and any other use (ableton, streaming, lights etc)

This is amazing for a new Digital DJ in the streaming age! I would love to have it to atleast put all my library in 1 spot. I believe I can even import my MP3 library from years ago!

Why I want to win this; first I am a user of Beatport streaming I loved it but I found it difficult to find the music I like and that is mainly because I don’t have much time, however having this setup I could find time when I am on the road for searching for my music and creating some nice sets, I have found the Beatport DJ app software to be great and now having a controller that goes with it would be a great addition ;-) Thanks for the great video and all the content you guys create!

Running in a Browser. Really not sure about that for Pro use. There are a couple club rooms that come to mind for me (in london) where there is naff all 4G coverage.

Question phil. Do I need advanced subscription for my mixstream pro or will essential do. I don't use laptops at all. Talking about beatport

That's a good question, and I am pretty sure you'll need advanced, but not tested it.

Hey mate. Just tried this and the lack of headphone volume adjustment makes it painful to use. How were you managing to use it comfortably?

It's a hack, but you have to reduce the overall output volume then increase it somewhere else down the line. Far form perfect, I know!

How would you be able to mix songs without a crossfader? The K2 has line faders, but I can't see a crossfader for decks A and B. Cheers

Just use the line faders. Back in the day, many mixers didn't have crossfaders at all.

Yes, in the US from the Allen & Heath website apparently. you can also download and print your own.

Of course chosing an official music portal as Beatport doesn’t allow you to play bootlegs, white labels and unofficial releases, also the most important part of a set who gives character, personality to a dj to be exclusive.

@@digitaldjtips i think it make sense spending 30€ for Beatport DJ for some specific dj sets only, with a lot of limitations. Music industry has to reinvent itself including bootlegs and giving portals like Beatport more music opportunities.
