Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you this new around the house happenings! I threw in a lot of valentines day stuff that I didn't plan well enough to put in my previous valentines day video lol and there's even more that I wanted to share about the valentines I wanted to make, but won't be making anymore because - well it's a story for another day. lol But I put together some valentines day 'baskets' for my kiddos pretty simple stuff and I made this sweeeet fondue setup that I know I'll bust out again once valentines Day comes along! Or whenever I feel like replicating the melting pot experience on a budget haha! I guess it's a little tj maxx haul, and I got some stuff done around the house like dishes and laundry and a very simple dinner! Hope you enjoy hanging out today!

I think you once said that Elenore is your artist in the family. I have an idea that she could paint the under the stairs closet where the one piece of wallpaper is missing. When I use a box like the diaper box to ship, I undo it and turn it inside out and reglue or tape it. That way you have the brown box on the outside.

17:39 hello Kim! Thank you to your brother, and all the men and women for their service! My grown children are 35 and 33 and I still do little things for the crazy holidays like Valentine’s Day for them. Your children will remember the little things in the traditions that you have now. To this day my kids still do most of the traditions that they did when they were younger, it warms my heart.

I’m sure her family fills her stocking 😂 her children like to get Xmas gifts for each other I’m sure they don’t forget their parents. Plus even though we don’t see her husband much, she does mention sometimes that he’ll see stuff he knows she’s into and ask her if she wants it. I’m sure she’s showing her whole family love/ how to think of others.

I used to give my kiddos a candle light dinner every valentine's day. They absolutely adored it! Plus, it's my youngest son's birthday, so I kind of need to elevate it a bit for him every year. He's 16 this year, holy cow the time goes so fast!

For years we made Valentine’s Day all about our kids. We set the table with China, crystal and silver. I created menus with the kids’ favorites. They would circle the things they wanted. We would fill their plates in the kitchen and served them at the table. This included their drinks. After they ate, we would clear their plates and serve their dessert. Then we would do the dishes and clean up. I still have some of their menus. Great memories!

My husband is retiring military so I have a heart for those deployed. Pack that box full. One year I mailed a mini decorated Christmas tree that I tied ornaments on to my brother in the desert. So go the extra mile the service members are so happy.

My Hubby was gone beyond several yrs for super Holidays on the wild & crazy Military leaves & he totally appreciated the packages he got! Thank you to ALL Service Men & Women!! Holidays were very special for me during this time, I would hit up Dollar store & Bath Times were so relevant because it was a time to Ahhhhhhhhhh..relax & refresh! I love what Wolfgang did! For your dark under eyes counteract with red/ orange. It neutralizes the grey and black circles. So just a little under your eyes before concealers will Make a WORLD of difference. I have dark circles “mom circles” yah know. Try it. Elf makes an orange one. Works great.

Jason and I went to the melting pot for dessert in D.C. for an anniversary. It was one of the most amazing tasting desserts ever. Definitely just a special occasion kind of place.

Our grocery store just started carring the CHOMP's beef sticks last week. I grabbed both packs since my husband asked for beef sticks this week for a work snack. Our Family has been on a freezer purge recently also ours is mostly breakfast and vegetables. Along with broth and sauces I made from my tiny garden.

I will say the Melting Pot is a nice outing for my husband and I. We go once or twice a year and since we don't go out often the price (around $120 plus tip) is reasonable to us haha. You should give it a try with Alex sometime! ❤

You are over thinking Valentine's Day. Fill up the small baskets with the specific Velentine's things. Save some of that stuff for Easter Baskets. I have never heard of a Bae Baskets. It sounds like a SCAM! If teenagers want those, make them work for allowance to pay for them. Have a great day! Love your sweater, BTW.

Finnaaalllyy costco stopped the excess of overly wrapping the paper towels! I only go through between 10-12 a year of paper towel so its better for me when it is not individually wrapped and i remove it from the plastic anyway so no need to individually wrap

When we do popcorn for the family, I use the brown paper bags that you would use for lunch or at dollar tree they sell some paper bags that say popcorn. You could also use paper treat bags for some fun colors. That way we don’t have a bunch of containers to wash.

Sweet friend, praying for your brother! I am an Army wife of current active duty who went through 2 years of deployments almost back to back and I know just how much those care packages mean. Thank you for speaking about it openly to remind people to keep our military in thoughts and prayers. Also, no to Valentine's celebrations! 🙃Now that my kids are teens we say "happy murderous love day" since they know the origins of St Valentines. 🤣 Teens are so fun! I typically get everyone a box of chocolates and we leave it at that. I refuse to even go out on Valentines bc of crazy people. Some take out Chinese and a good show sounds like a great way to celebrate me and my husband's love!😝

We recently had a family birthday and had a cheese fondue and a gravy fondue with Yorkshire puddings, pigs in blankets and roast potatoes and roasted veg! It was a hit! I am in the UK so I think our gravy is a bit different but I can highly recommend it! 😂❤

Maybe TMI, but my grandson used to love the bath letters that stick. For years we would make words on the shower wall...he's bilingual so I was learning also!
