While a lot of people are excited about Elden Ring, Elex 2 is THE game I have been waiting for.

It does look to have much improved graphics. I kinda feel the same way as I do with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. I really want to get into it but the original got me so upset with bugs and repetitive killings. The original Elex upset a lot of people because you could not loot the weapons of the enemies. You just got some elex and some token loot. But I have not invested much in gaming lately so I will take a chance on these. Besides, I have to stay up on things that LKM is talking about.

Same here… I’m glad I didn’t even find out it was coming out until recently… I would’ve had to pull a cartman and freeze myself lol. But seriously… the Witcher 3 and elex 2 are by the best rpgs of all time imo… so much to do… 100s and 100s of hours of exploring. If you haven’t played dying light 2 yet… I definitely would because it was also very good in a rpg exploring aspect. I did a whole play through and maybe explored 35%… maybe 45%… there was so much I didn’t do because I got in a hurry.

The Morkons are the BDSM religious cult faction their skills called rites gives you bonuses when you get damage.

Thank you for covering this game. I feel like nobody is really talking about it for some reason? Maybe it’s just the release date is so close to other big games. I’m really excited to playing this in a few days when it comes out

Yeah, timing is kinda bad for them, but we shall see what happens, they need to increase marketing for this game a lot, its kinda invisible out there.

Exactly :/.. releasing R2 in the same window as Horizon 2 & Eldenring :/ .... ... Elex 2 should get delayed a few weeks (more time for polishing & patching things up).., and gawd, pls someone tell shareholders, the "faster release" can be the worse release too .. H2 & ER will get all the media attention for the next 30 days.., besides, with H2 & ER so fresh in memory, Elex2 will get compared hard with those 2 games (if Elex 2 had come out 1st Feb, it would have been much better.., now early / mid April would be a better release date too)

@@LastKnownMeal True, E2 needs more PR! .. atm ER & H2 is crushing it with PR & media presence.., E2 should hold out a bit, till H2 & ER cool off a bit (or should have been released a month earlier than H2)

I reckon Elex 1 left a bit to be desired. I miss when strength points made you do more dmg rather than just purchase skills. But this looks at least to have a more complex system so I'm pretty confident it will be as good or better 'skills wise.'👍

Its funny how popular elex 2 is but how little videos there are to explain differant things, like factions, i cant find a single video telling the locations of the faction based

We do know aliens teraforming the planet. They send commets and open some sort of portal in the sky. The alien are are call skyans. In the first part of the game Jaxs is injured and found by hybrid who survived. Jax doesn't recognize him because he used his human name. Which was the password to the hybrids chamber.

I just recently got the game on sale. I don't like paying over 35-40$ a game. So it finally popped up for like 20-30$ish. And I gotta say. I LOVE THE GAME. so many random things. Just wish there was more Bastion customization options, and weapons like pistols, automatics. And lastly I WISH there was a mechanic to capture and tame mutated monsters and use them as a summon able mount. Lol

Wait... why does it look like you're playing DEAD SPACE? I absolutely HATE that claustrophobic motion sickness inducing camera angle. It's too close and the character is off center? There is a way to change this back to the original correct camera angle from the original ELEX right?

I feel like Morkons are unnecessary. The Clerics are already supposed to be the religious fanatics. Morkons could have had their own unique feel. Oh well.

I am actually playing Elex right now. The world is fun to explore but I have to admit I HATE each of the factions. They either want you to murder people (and not just raiders you'd be happy to kill but people with reasons for doing what they did) and then religious fanatics or out-for-themselves faction. I really don't want to join any of them.

Ah, yeah, generally factions in Elex 1 are always kinda in the grey, I wonder how will they tackle that in the sequel.

@@MasterMalrubius Just get a companion at start and it's easy mode. But yeah, it's kinda janky in the beginning, classic PB touch.

@@LastKnownMeal Yeah, I've finally gotten to where I have several companions to choose from. I'm in the "Ray" quest now hunting down his bounty guys. I guess all in all it is refreshing it isn't the easy to determine style game like Fallout. But man, I go to complete a quest by killing someone and then that person makes more sense than the dude who gave me the quest. I feel like a ronin wandering around. Anyway keep up the good work.

Just get a bunch of grenades at the outlaw fort then it's easy . Until you get better weapons and abilities .

Playing Elex 2 without playing Elex 1 ever and I'm sorry but your video is very confusing. I just watched another video that clearly explained what happened in Elex 1 in 10 mins and the factions were much better explained within the context of the overall story. I wish you would focus more on the overall storyline instead of what "Piranha Bytes is doing" but good effort with your video.
