This $200 webcam has no mic but its video quality is one of the best out there for a webcam. The Logitech C920 has nothing on the Elgato Facecam and there is no match between these two webcams.

I’m this cam is making some buzz, that’s for sure! My buddy has an entire Elgato livestream setup and it’s fantastic. I recently upgraded to a Sony multiple camera setup with the atem mini. New sub here and can’t wait to dive in to more content!

I think the problem that you cant see the image on both OBS and the Elgato software is probably due to windows. I got the same problem when i use Nvidia Broadcast. I can either see my preview in Nvidia Broadcast itself or in OBS. Same Problem with Windows Camera App.

Great video, i'm having problems with Elgato Facecam using Nvidia Broadcast on OBS, my image gets like a photo and doesn't move at all. with the C922 i don not have that problem :( ... by the way, i'm using Bulk usb option with 3.0 gen 2 usb. Also, the image on the Camera Hub from elgato looks great and works amazing, but not with obs

Yeah, I’m not entirely sure what would cause that. I assume you are using a 3.0 usb. Maybe it’s a case of asking Elgato support via Twitter or email? Sorry

I just got one o these and the picture looks really bad. But my computer isn't new enough for the Elgato software to work and I don't know what I am doing. Where do people go to learn and ask questions about this kind of stuff?

One of the biggest fixes will be your lighting. Make sure you have plenty of it

Just received mine today but it won't save the settings to the camera; go figure. It seems the BRAND NEW cord that comes with the Facecams suck. I just ordered a NEW cord for my NEW Elagato facecam.

@@OfficialGundem Nope. Legato support had me downgrade the driver then update the driver. The camera worked after. However, I returned the camera because it can’t work with the ATEM mini Pro ISO switcher. I have yet to find a paid/commissioned KZfaqr that tells viewers that the FaceCam WILL NOT work with the ATEM Mini Pro video switcher since it's USB-C connection that you CANNOT convert to HDMI required by the ATEM Mini Pro video switcher.

I wouldn't say you're dumb. I would not have known that before buying but it's good to know now. If you like, you can always tweet @elgatosupport on twitter and they could get you an answer. Who knows, maybe you did something wrong?

This camera definitely has problems, no matter how many drivers are checked, 3.0 port changes, but it has many transmission problems, it freezes for seconds or it freezes permanently, no matter how much you look on different sides, there are many people who are experiencing this problem, and being a webcam with a lot of money invested and that doesn't work as it should, it's disgusting

The C920 was never a great webcam, but yours seems especially bad. I wonder if it is defective because it should look much better with the lighting you have. That said, the image quality of the Elgato Facecam is exceptional. I would like to see a comparison of it against the new webcam from Dell or maybe a GoPro if you have one lying around.
