the reason Lincoln’s death hit so hard for all of us was because ever since we have met him he has never given up without a fight. but in this scene you see him stand down. on his knees, helpless. also because we knew octavia had no one. her mom was killed bc of her, indra left, she had no friends, she was mad at Clarke, she blamed Bellamy for Lincoln’s death. she had no one but lincoln.

I like, ugly cried at that episode. Not just a few tears, I full on sobbed.

Lincolns death scene was so well made. The glance towards Octavia as he said goodbye and her unable to do anything. You can see her go completely numb after the fact so that scene really made a lot of us feel for her. Also I never thought they would actually kill him off so it was a SHOCK

I think Lincoln's death is just so emotional, because until the very end he resists, he knows he's gonna die but he says "not for you" to Pike when he asks for last words. It's amazing how he stays true to himself, until death. That's what made this scene so emotional to me.

i hate pike in the perspective that i know "the grounders side" aka clarkes perspective or octavias but then again, all pike has ever seen was ice nation who massacred children without a second thought he used the thinking pattern how everyone on the ark was the same, so the ground must go by the same rules from his perspective, the army was there and the only thing stopping them from attacking was a thin line of leadership hes an asshole and i hate him so god damn much but i really appreciate how the writers made him have an understandable side. they give all the problems and "villains" so much depth that i really appreciate because it makes it feel real. none of the conflicts feel petty and thats why i think even after six seasons (which i havent seen #6 it just released to netflix today) it still remained very good and didnt feel like it was stretching for ideas or going downhill
