Richard Burton has said awful things about her and appearance, how she did have beautiful eyes but was not the most beautiful woman in the world. He was very degrading and insulting and I think he was greatly jealous of her, sad, because I think she really did love him.

This is one of the most experienced film actresses and one of the most powerful stage actors of their time, with a fame unsurpassed at the time. Their tempestous love was part of their charisma and fame, and they were savvy in what they revealed and pretended to reveal. That's fine with me. We don't need to know everything.

What a life she had. I can’t imagine what it must be like to be that beautiful and famous only to end up in a wheelchair seeing it all ebb slowly away. Life really is beyond cruel.

I can't agree w/ Liz more Loving to fight I love having an insane fights with my love I have to say we get each other good ....and then we end up laughing and getting turned on...which Im sure they did as well...They will definitely be missed @ my house..I watched Cleopatra today while bursting into tears that my one and only 2 heros are completely gone out of this world..I must be happy tho as she has returned to her Welshman where she belongs..I just hope she knows how much she meant to me...

Ella era mujer caprichosa, no es "modelo" de esposa para nadie. Siempre pareció "depender" de los hombres. Patético que nunca aprendió a valerse por sí misma. Era muy hermosa, pero no es un modelo a seguir.
