Totally agree. I think there's a misunderstanding about those of us who take issue with Elizabeth Warren. It's not like I dismiss less pure progressives and shun them forever. If you make a mistake that's okay! Just admit it. Tell us what you did wrong, what happened, and you'd probably be surprised how many people are willing to forgive stupid logic or political calculations that fail. But when she makes a mistake and then doesn't own it, it says a lot about a person's character and principles. Or it does to me. And what it says isn't good.

I heavily disagree. People are sick and tired of politicians lying to us all the time. If Elizabeth Warren was just upfront and honest with us, and just said that she simply didn't want to upset the Clintons so she could push them to the left if they won, and then admit she was incredibly wrong to do so, people would still be upset with her, but many of us would also deeply respect that she told us the truth. That is something people have been dying for from our politicians, honesty and integrity.

I'm wondering if something went off-script and he was off-balanced, or if he wants to do a follow up when the election comes around and doesn't want to burn a bridge.
