Well, I voted by mail, and I am in California. So your criticism make no sense on my behalf. On the other hand, that's the attitude causes Bernie the chance during the primary, You don't vote for who you think "will" win, you vote for who represent you the most and with the best policy. Also, voting for Jill Stein brings the awareness to the people, who are lacking of the knowledge of the third parties, and yes, they almost never win, but you know why? Because of the "Third Party contribute nothing" attitude is so entrenched in this society. However, by giving her my vote, It benefits the real progressive platform for the next election, not only for her name recognition, but also her well supported policy which can also affects the other parties to move left. When choosing just between 2 bad apples is a quandary; seeking for a better option requires alot more effect than just waiting in line for hours, and sure, you always have the freedom to sleep through the day if you want. Unless you were in a swing state (Florida, Virgina, Kentucky, etc.) a 3rd party vote was of minimal impact in the vote totals, but was a true representation of what a vote should mean and that, imo, has an impact much much greater than it being one simple vote.
