Mom is 85. Dad took her to a concert in New York City and then he took her to Tuffenetty's for dinner in the 50's They were the only white folks there. She loves Ella so much. Happy birthday 💐🎉🥳 in heaven. Thanks for the music. I have to get mom her fav music download?

Today is my father’s birthday, he passed away in august, 3 months ago. I just met an old guy wearing his exact same shoes so I thought maybe he’s saying hi and sending a sign… then I entered a coffee shop and found this video on the tv of two people dancing the exact same way I used to dance with my father, the exact same drawing I wanted to tattoo on my hand for his first birthday away from each other. I thought ok this is too much of signs! I directly put the song (this video) on KZfaq to watch and guess what is the first thing Louis Armstrong says? Heaven, I’m in heaven… I laughed crying and felt the urge to tell you this story! Thank you dad! You are magic!!!!!! I love you and happy birthday, dancing cheek to cheek ❤️

My condolences. I know how you feel because I also lost a family member 3 months ago as well in March of this year and while death is hard to deal with always remember that one day we will be together again in heaven and besides God is taking excellent care of your dad and always remember to try to enjoy the good times with him.

@@bayevicable this wonderful song was written by Irving Berlin in 1935, he wrote it for the movie Top Hat with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. I've been listening to this version by Ella & Louis for over two decades and I can't get enough of it, s'wonderful
