Grats to her for knowing when to end it rather than just letting it run endlessly until getting cancelled. Lots of TV shows could learn from her.

She showed more emotion for the ending of her show than she did for the treatment of her employees on the show!

She had a great show here. After Oprah , Ellen’s show was the most watched. But once it was revealed her show was a toxic workplace, and she basically turned out to be a liar with the be kind stuff, because she was not kind , the ratings tanked. It’s truly sad because I enjoyed her show. But the moral of this story…truly be nice to one another.

She treated the audience better on camera than her own crew off screen.

I can only imagine the sadness she felt as she said those last words and had the doors close. Rare moments like that in life really tug at your heart strings

Even though I dislike Ellen after what she did, I can't deny I enjoyed watching her show. I wouldn't say I grew up watching it, but I watched a ton of episode clips through KZfaq before the scandal came out. They gave me a lot of laughter and entertainment. From this video alone, I can tell the closing episode was very heartfelt. Goodbye, and thank you to the Ellen show.

Thanks for everything Ellen, I used to watch this woman on my worst days. Folks, when you think of the bad things she's done. Don't forget the good ones. She has touched a lot of hearts. Spoken to kids in abusive households. Made a lot of people smile. I'll always remember her for those things. And while I don't condone anything of the not good things she's done, based off of the beautiful impact she's had on my life. I choose to forgive her.

Her show was the best medicine for me when I was pregnant with a horribly abusive spouse... she put laughter in my day that gave me hope that things would get better. I appreciate that.

I lost respect for Ellen after it was revealed how she acted off camera but this was so sad. She was such an important person on TV and for helping LGBT acceptance and I'll honestly miss her show. This was such a lovely way to end it.

I remember watching her before finding out how she treated the employees, but all those guests,scares and songs changed my life forever. May God bless you all :)

This was my favorite show to watch when i was a little younger. Every time at 4:00 PM, i listen to that beautiful theme song on ABC before the show starts. It was a really sad thing to see her go. Thank you for the memories Ellen, you made us smile brighter and always never fail to entertain us with your funny moments.

There’s just something about a last day, a last moment that evokes emotions you can’t recreate till you go through it again. It’s one of the best feelings. Especially when you loved what you did. When she sat on the couch looking at the audience knowing it will be the last time she sees her audience on the Ellen show was so moving.

I know people have a vendetta against her, but the closing is still sad. What a great way to end the show. Thank you Ellen.

I recorded this episode. It was beautifully done. I'll miss the show, and I'll also miss Andy, Mary, and Jeannie (Klisiewicz). We can't forget the games she played and the features where she sent guests into businesses and her directing them (via an earpiece) to say ridiculous things.

my grandma was LGBTQ+ and Ellen was one of her biggest idols. when i was younger she told me all about how when ellen came out and how she helped the lgbtq+ community in amazing ways. she passed away of cancer a year ago now, shed watch ellen every day at 3 when it would come on. and now she’s resting with the angels and the show has come to a close. i’m glad she didn’t see the stuff ellen did but this is super sad, she’s been on tv forever and it’s almost like all the stuff we used to have is coming to a close.

Although Ellen got so much attention through her toxicity on her staff Her show was enjoyable most of the time. And that was probably the greatest thing Ellen had done Bring back one of my favourite actresses Jennifer Aniston

my granny graduated with ellen and was on her class reunion episode almost 20 years ago…hurts too see her go🥺

I only liked her on Finding Nemo, but it was sad to see her last show.

I love how she voiced Dory in the Finding Fish series.

You can tell she wasn't ready to say goodbye but it was probably for the best

After what she did to people, I’m surprised she can still show her face to the public.

On the outside we may still dislike her, but on the inside we all love her. We have loved watching all your episodes! They were very funny and entertaining. Thank you for a great show

Don't let this distract you from the fact that she treated almost everyone who was anyone like garbage behind the scenes. It's a nice accomplishment to have had a show air this long, and while she may have done a decent job from the outsiders view, she showed her crew a whole other side that wasn't so great. Just reminding everyone. At least if she wasn't cancelled and did actually decide to end it, she did it before it was dried out. This show could of probably survived another ten years with the way people looked up to her.

Great news here…. Finally the end of this show. Long over due.

I don’t condone what she has done, but I grew up watching the show. Watching my favourite artists preform, and watching inspirational people talk, really changed me, and in some ways made me a better person. I’ll definitely miss this era
