To people who don't know she's lost 3 babies in the last year. I'd imagine she has a right to look stressed and not be too open about this pregnancy. Pregnancy is stressful by itself but when you have had Loss after loss after loss it's more stress because you're worrying if that one will make it.

For all of you saying this interview was awkward I agree. But if you had gone through 3 miscarriages and just now started opening up about you would be awkward too. Plus she said at the beginning of the interview she didn’t want people to know the sex of her child yet but Ellen literally spent this interview trying to figure it out. If an interview is awkward it is the hosts fault not the guests :/

Ellen & Carrie would have already worked out the format of the interview ahead of time. They don't do spontaneous interviews on those shows, so Carrie would have known what to expect & how to handle it.

I don't get the negative comments. I guess people who are cringing at this interview don't really know her personality. Carrie is very introverted that's just how she is . I think she was also guarded because she was trying not to slip the gender to Ellen. Regardless, I guess everyone isn't for everyone but I love Carrie regardless.She's amazing!!

Carrie is so humble, she is absolutely stunning, she has the best voice I have ever heard, and I love that she is religious and whenever she wins an award she thanks God! I love her so much. She's been very open and personable in her interviews this time around, but here she was more reserved and had her guard up for sure. She may have been anticipating having to speak about her miscarriages again, so she had more of a serious tone. Who knows, she may not be having a girl right now at all, but maybe she miscarried when she was supposed to have a girl and that's where her mind went. You really don't know.

She’s so much more shy since her fall, she’s less confident which is normal, she had it on her face it’s not an easy thing to hide, she even said she feels like she looks different. She was also asked about they baby and she had 3/4 miscarriages before this, if I was her I wouldn’t feel very hopeful tbh. She has a lot of reason to be shy and insecure during interviews, imagine you getting asked about things that bring up a lot of bad memories

I had the honor of again seeing Carrie perform live. 09/19/18 on Jimmy Kimmel show. Which is what prompted me to scroll comments. All of the negativity saddens me. There is a difference between ones opinion . Believe me I have mine. And unjust criticism !
