Takes me back to the early 2010s, back in Woking after a calamitous time in London, living with family again after failing in the adult world, communicating with a chess playing genius artist in Copenhagen who was amazingly beautiful and who I managed to convince to meet in that city, I listened to this on loop at the time while weight lifting my scrawny body to try and get in shape for the big meet, then we meet, and went to bed, and it was wonderful really, but it only lasted one night, it's funny how music can take you right back to a particular period in your life and make you remember all the feelings and emotions you had at that time, what a banging song

The year was 2010. I was a middle schooler back then and this song used to play on VIVA during their six o'clock program and I would totally jam out to it while having my bowl of cereal and later on my way to school I would listen to this song once more followed by starry eyed on my mp3 player. Also for some odd reason this song reminds me of iCarly (but I think that's because it used to be my favorite show back then!? ). Ah, these memories.

She used to be pretty when she was natural

I went to see her live at a small venue in Leicester in 2010 (The Shed is the name of the venue). She had a guitar and a band and switched to some percussion now and again. There was no autotune or effects (maybe some reverb at the desk) but she was very talented and a real musician. I was surprised by the direction she took. But money talks. It may have been "this is what you're doing next or nothing at all). Music business is ruthless.

OGs remember when this first came out🤣 nobody knew who she was especially here in America. At 13 years old I would watch this video over and over on KZfaq, I loved the “clones” of her dancing in the background. Then downloading it on My iPod was even better.. getting to play it on repeat 1 million times. I loved this genre of her and stopped listening as much after pop took over her 😭

i never saw this before. I was thinking of how cute she'd been in Love Song, and how the music Ind had S*x dolled her into the same image as the rest. Seeing this it made me realise that the damage had been already done. ' Between the Sheets' with her dismissal 'your just like all the boys before' , describing it as 'killing her', yet returning for more, is truly tragic. I can only hope she can put this behind her and be happy with her husband and baby.
