I have been bullied since I have been in middle school, abandoned by my father at a extremely young age of my life, put down by many people in my life, suffered mental disabilities, but now I'm growing stronger, wiser, and smarter than I was in middle school and elementary school. Back in 2011, when my mother sing this I didn't think much of it, being in elementary school and happy, but now, after all these years, this song struck me more deeper than I imagine. I was a girl with sunshine, the one who always had a smile on her face, but these accidents changed me.Two years ago, I was diagnosed with ADHD, failed my exam, betrayed by my friends, being edged out by the kids on my school bus for two months. I totally lost it and I attempted self- harm, I never asked for help and people won't reach out for help even if I did. This song was my only comfort. Years passed, I grew up . My ADHD got better, my best friends supported me, comforted me and my grades improved a lot. A secondary school which I liked a lot accepted me.
