They should not have put the record over her. She has a distinct live voice that is pretty significantly different from the record (and I love it). The record playing over her makes it sound as if she is simple unable to sing the song but this is not really the truth. She can sing it beautifully live, it is just different then the record (a more acoustic type of sound).
