Yeah tlou² was a letdown for for it was too overly dark n they kill Joel the main character of wayyy too early in the beginning of the game for christ sakes i didn't care to batshits about Abby besides her wanting revenge n the story was very convoluted with a ton of flashback lvls that are better than the main story in the game.

@@samer.4660 no they did cut a bunch out, they also added a lot, its been 10 years since the games release, and honestly who cares if its not a faithful recreation of the game? the show is still incredible regardless and has plenty if iconic scenes from the game, if you want the same nostalgia im sorry but that simply isn't gonna happen from anything other than playing the actual game again, things change over time and you can either try and fight it to no ends, or you can accept it for what it is and enjoy it regardless.

The scene was so important. It shows Ellie's nature and why she can't let go of her revenge. That's just the way she is. She decides to take revenge here instead of enjoying the beautiful moment with the deer with Joel.
