Once you commit a crime change beard and hairstyle. For example, I robbed shops in Saint Denis wearing the execution mask, a specific outfit with fully covered gloves. Then rode out of sight from the city, out of anyone's line of sight. Setup camp trimmed beard and hair(though I never really needed it cause I was fully covered thanks to execution mask), changed my clothes similar to the citizens of Saint Denis (usually a slitted coat with a long hat) and then I entered Saint Denis as a free citizen. Note: try to be discreet about it, watch out for curios customers near and in the shop, first scout the shop from both outside and inside. Then come again and commit the crime. Don't run and bash open the shop door, this will attract passerby citizens.
