Can you tell me about your cutting mat and pattern weights. Are they magnetic and what brand are they both? I like that you can cut with your wheel cutting tool right on it

I’ve got a dress pattern I’m doing now ( my first one in over 40 yrs ) and it doesn’t have sleeves but I want a floaty sleeve and I was watching a KZfaq video this morning where the circle sleeves were put on a dress so I’d love to do that too.

How in the world do you keep the fabric from rolling on you? Once I cut my pieces the edges roll so bad.

it really depends on the types of fabrics. a lot of custom cotton lycra rolls but sometimes I use starch spray to help it from curling.
