I heard this song for the first time in church today. I started weeping at the very first word. I raised 4 little girls mostly alone. I made a lot of mistakes and have many regrets. My girls are all grown and have families of their own except for one. She is the only one that will have anything to do with me. The rest have turned their backs on me and have taken my grandchildren away from me. There are 9 of them. I miss them all so much it's unbearable at times. My girls took the kids from me because i taught them the Word of God and led several of them to Christ. I have no regrets about this whatsoever. The words to this song touched me so intensely, so deeply because I felt the arms of my Savior wrapped around me. He tells me to not be discouraged. I know He loves me. He died to save me, after all of my wretchedness. There are some things in life we never really get over. But the love of Christ keeps us standing firm. I'm so very grateful for this song. I almost didn't go to church this morning. Look what i would have missed. Jesus had the victory and I will never, ever be able to repay Him for all He's done for me. I pray in earnest for my family, every single night. I just have to wait for the Lord to answer. In His perfect timing. Never give up...

I my dad of 92 years passed last night. He died in his own bed in his home. He had a peaceful look on his face. I know he's with our Lord and savior. Mom is still with us, me and my youngest brother have been their care takers for a long time. My brother even quit his job in Seattle to move in take care of the folks, I moved back home a few years back to give him help....God's plan is always perfect. It hurts me bad that I was the last one to see him alive, I put him to bed that night....checked on him during the night. I usually got him up every Saturday morning, but we recently got home visits from the VA and she was the one who found he had passed on.😢 He's in paradise now....my Grandmother is the person I remember leading him to the Lord all those many moons ago. She probably met him at heavens gates. RIP dad....you will dearly missed.

I came from a pretty tough period and started doubting that God is with me anymore. I felt stressed and anxious about a lot of things in my life. I had a breakdown and cried to God in my bed. I had near me my phone and my earphones. Honnestly, I don't really know how Spotify started running in the background, but it did, I couldn't hear because the earphones were connected. After I finished my prayer, I picked up my phone to read something from the Bible and I noticed that this song just started playing. The title really made me courious and I put the earphone in my ear and opened the app to see the lyrics. Bursted into tears, each word matched how I was feeling and comforted me, it was like a message directly from God. Praise the Lord. I hadn't heard this song in a long while, and through a tough time with depression and death and loneliness, I heard "I will carry you" inside my soul and knew it hadn't been a song I heard recently, so I looked it up. I could've broken down crying then and there. When I just want someone to look at me and see me and see all my brokenness and love me for it, this song makes me feel God's love. I can hear Him singing to me in it, even when I don't always want to admit it. God be praised, even in the midst of the storm.
