EDIT: I had comments calling me transphobic. I will not be platforming transmedicalism in my comments. That being said, the commenter did bring things to my attention that I was previously not aware of, so I edited my video, removing 10 seconds (2 sentences). I said that children aren't given hormones or surgery before they are 18 which wasn't correct. I didn't know that puberty blockers can't be taken indefinitely and that definitely changes the need to give minors cross sex hormones. However, the choices made between a child, their guardians and their doctors is none of my business. I would never fight to take rights away from trans people. The conversation in the video was about puberty blockers which is the issue I was hoping to highlight and I don't want comments that I made without the full information to take away from that. If you have an issue with something that I have said I would really appreciate you coming to me in good faith rather than name calling and being aggressive. Your message gets lost in the delivery and this was something that I needed to learn and appreciated learning

Yeah also same!! I'm trying to learn a lot more about intersex people too because I think they're so often forgotten in the community and I feel like they're the victims of the most medical abuse...

@@Dolleemixtures I'm older (49) and used to describe myself like this: if you look at gender as a spectrum of, say, 1-14 where 1 is very male, 14 is very female, and 7.5 is neither, I was about a 9- yeah, I'm female but the term "woman" has just never felt like "me." Imagine my joy finding the term gender fluid twenty plus years later!

mx super queer is GENIUS!! and ken does have different body types as well (i believe they're called slim ken and broad ken as well as regular - or "buff" - ken, haha). the problem lies in that most of the body varieties with both ken and barbie are from the fashionista line, so you can't get any articulation like you have with the bmr dolls. like there is one made to move tall barbie, two m2m curvies, and no m2m petites that i'm aware of (and there are only like 6 m2m skintones in the classic barbie anyway). i don't think there are any m2m kens that aren't in specialty lines like bmr, or are sculpts of characters like superheroes. so it's either diy articulation or diy body types, it seems! i don't know how different the bts dolls are from classic kens, but their articulation is more basic than the m2m line anyway.

I was talking to my buddy about wheelchair ken cause he's well priced and super articulated. It's a shame the other body types aren't articulated... Idk why I just don't really want to work with dolls that have less articulation... Ahaha I'm glad you like the sticker!!! I don't even have one stuck on my computer yet! This was the whole reason I made stickers in the first place lol

It is interesting that people say that don't know a transgender person, but you know not everyone shares that part of their life and identity with everyone they come into contact with. Like, they say they may not know anyone who is transgender, but it is possible they know people who are transgender and haven't told them. So while 80% may say that, the percentage could possibly less than that. : )

I love how the doll came out ~ people like Elliott should be trans icons not the Jenners, i may not like Katlyn Jenner but at the same time i wouldnt take away her pronouns like some. its important we respect what people want to be known as, what they feel they are. i worked with a transwoman (male to female) for years without knowing untill she felt safe to come out to me about it xx were still good friends. people need to realise that stopping these people living their best life is indeed dangerouse. again lovly work on the doll, i always love seeing your creations Mixtures.

Thank you for saying all of these beautiful words about trans youth/trans culture in general. As a brand new adult, it's scary to watch the generation below me seemingly left in the dust. I fully support LGBTQIA people. I have a cousin who is a Trans man and I love him a lot. Elliot is fully supported by his country of Canada. As he is Canadian not American and lives in Toronto Ontario the same province I live in. He has had no trouble being accepted in Canada and is supported greatly. If you are going to put your words out there, you are going to have to take the good with the bad comments. Also you may want to watch a documentary called Transhood it was very interesting.

I hope that in the future there will be no such thing as taking the good with the bad in terms of being trans. I've been out as trans in the community since last year. I've experienced some lgbt-phobia which is disappointing but sadly not surprising :/ I'll check the doc out. Thanks for the recommendation
